Leona keeps watching the funeral looking for anything odd or out of place in addition to just seeing who shows up and who doesn't show up. She is largely going on instinct at this point and knows she does have other leads to follow.

There is a powerful male Half Fiend- tall and muscular who stands out of the crowd- and the priests are less than happy about his presence. It might be because of the many abyssal symbols he has tattoed and branded onto his skin.

Proudly he shows off his muscular upper body, the strong arms and dark, leathery wings- but he stands alone but for two sensates who talked to him briefly while he gave his respects to a small white and red urn. The rest of the deceased's family eyes him with open contempt- perhaps even hate.

She also hears a name: Gar'kellic the Beguiler.

Then there are some sensates talking to each other- discussing- no even arguing if there was a recording stone involved in this meeting- or if the experiences made are now lost forever.

Then there is this gaunt elf- almost insect like in his appearance who stalks through the crowd- talking to some, watching others- he seems to gather informations as well.

((Sorry work has been crazy the past few days))

Leona would keep an eye on the gaunt elf like insect as best she could but most of her efforts would be spent watching the half-fiend as she already had some evidence that there was connections between the murders and the abyss temple.

The temple is always open for visitors of course and never turns anybody who wants to do business with it away- many people of many factions entering and leaving freely.

As she watches two new sacrifices are impaled on the blades adorning the outer walls- the executioner ravens cawing with delight as the vistims spasm in pain, howling, dying a slow death.

Leona would then enter following the half-fiend not seeing a lot of choice at this point. if she wanted to figure out what was going on she would have to go in. She kept herself as low key as she could, but she was dressed in plain clothes so that at least helped.

Inside it is dark- there are even some places Leona's senses cannot pierce and there are many sounds- the murmur of people talking, the chanting of the praying, faint screams from...... rituals performed deeper in the Temple.

The guards give her nothing more than a casual glance- no questions asked. Not yet....

The Half Fiend makes his way through the corridor and the people with casual ease and after bowing to a small hooded woman he enters a small side chapel- or is it a private shrine?

((no worries- same here ;) ))

The gaunt, insectlike elf moves between the mourning people, talking a bit to some, paying his respects to others but mostly watching, listening- trying to stay unnoticed.

On the other hand the Half-Fiend is not shy about the attention he gets from the bystanders- even hostility seems just to amuse him.
He finishes his prayers- something that makes the priest of Hermes cringe (but for some reason noone stops him)- then leaves, step sure, head held high as he moves to the exit.
