Sigil: City of Doors

((This is a mission she was ordered on by Factor Charae if a DM would like to post that would be great))

Leona had read the Sigis article and after a brief conversation with Factor Charae it was decided the matter should be investigated. She didn't for one second totally trust Sigis they had proven to be as reliable as a drunken orc's multiplication. There had also been rumors to substantiate it though so she had gone plain clothes to look into the matter. She figured she would start with the area surrounding the Golden Bariaur and work her way inwards. She kept both her ears and eyes open hoping to pick up on some kind of hint at to what might have happened.

There are few rumours circulating, few people talking about what happened in the Bariaur.

It seems there was some kind of party, some kind of feast- perhaps something that might not be very legal in Sigil but at the same time it is nothing the ideals of the upper planes forbid.

A casual search of the area reveals not much- after all it is the Lady's ward, the streets are maintained carefully, dirt and garbage removed quickly.

At the Bariaur itself she is greeted by a polite but distant Eladrin, the Bralani smiling.

"Lady's Grace, Cutter. May I lead you to a table outside? We have a new cask of Arcadian Wine.. or some Isgardian tea, perhaps?"

Leona would smile softly, "I think perhaps I would prefer a drink inside this weather does terrible things to my skin and some tea would be lovely." she would be sure to keep her eyes and ears open.

"I fear the rooms inside are only open to those with Celestial blood, to those who have ties to the upper planes. If this is true for you you are free to enter of course."

While he speaks Leona will notice a woman in fine silks who is clearly crying with grief being led away by a tall man, the celestial heritage of both obvious in their silvery eyes and long, copper hair. They might be even related.

The Bralani gives them both a glance full of compassion then waits for the Mercykillers answer.

Leona would shake her head, "I have no ties to the upper planes." she would pause and watch the woman being led away making sure to memorize her face knowing now wasn't the exact time to speak to her.


She would speak softly to the Bralani, "Who are they?"

Remembering this faces is not too hard and the Bralani answers her while looking after them- the angel moving his hands in an elegant patters, conjuring a piece of china, forming it into a small but elaborately adorned cup before calling some tea from somewhere, the aromatic brew steaming in the cup as he hands it to her.

"The Wiindart siblings.... minor nobles from a minor plane, their grandmother is a Deva from Arcadia. They recently lost their brother. You heard of the deaths that occured here, yes?"

He returns his attention to Leona. "I hope the tea is to your liking. It is a blend of leaves from Ysgard, Arcadia and the Elysium."

"I'll have to offer them my condolences. I heard far too many rumors about what happened and far too few facts. Perhaps you would care to enlighten me on what really went on?"

She would smile sweetly before taking the tea and sipping at it unless she saw some reason not to. If she saw no reason not to she would respond simply, "This is delicious.. best I've had in a long while."
