At Lys's (Astrafleur) suggestion Kiera would spend some time watching the warehouse owned by the erinyes fugitive's slave. She would take Lys along, and make sure not to wear her uniform or badge in the hostile territory. She's watching mainly for the slave, and obviously any sign of the fugitive coming or going, though she doesn't have much hope of spotting the latter. The intent would be to gather information on the slave's habits, any regulars that visit, and if at any time anyone goes in, but does not come out, which could indicate a gate, portal, or some hidden way out of the building.

As she checks back with Minerva she would find true to her reputation the mage has results for her.

"The scroll was burned out and spent so it is impossible to tell exactly what spell it was, but what I do know it was a powerful mixture of illusion and enchantment, that would effect both the targets senses and mind with a vision."

Kirasen would find nothing in her search for a red haired woman.

The records give only Richard Sampson as the name of her quarry's slave. She has no idea what he looks like or if he is one of the men she sees dragging crates into the warehouse. It strikes her that despite the fact she sees things go in, she sees nothing come out.

"Well, um, perhaps our sample size isn't quite high enough to be completely positively absolutely certain, but it doesn't seem like they're sending, um, only receiving. Unless, well, you know, there's another way out of there," Lys softly remarked to Kierisen as they watched the comings-and-goings near the warehouse over the course of their stakeout.

"I wonder what's in those crates, and, um, where they are coming from. If we could find out where they are arriving from, well, I might have an, um, idea about figuring out, um, what's going on within... though, you know, it's hard to make absolute guarantees."

Kiera nods to Lys as they watch for a few moments more. On the way back to their apartment Kiera would just comment, "I've half a mind to just search the place, but there might be guards. We need to find a way in unnoticed."

In the day time there are no guards, but the warehouse is always crowded with workers so any intruder would have a hard time being undetected. By night work does not stop, but the work force is lessened. In the hours of darkness the two observers would notice the arrival of an armed guard. All the guards carry spears and wear full plate, all seem well equipped and professional. The armour bares the device of a large iron tower suggesting they are some kind of mercenary group.

"Well, um, look at that," Lys discreetly indicated the arriving guards. "What is that, some kind of, um, insignia that they have, maybe? Does that ring a, you know, bell? Either way, um, if we are to tag one of those crates, well, we'd have to get close to one long enough to slip something inside one without getting seen. Whatever they are doing, though, they're being rather awfully industrious about it, and that's usually expensive to continue peak and antipeak and under guard, you know," she remarked.

"And I wonder if we can backtrack where these, um, shipments are arriving from..."

Kiera would try to find out, through sources in the fraternity, where the deliveries are coming from, and if there's a more frequent source. She also looks for information on a shipment schedule to leave for the warehouse in the next couple of days.
