Since Charae's promotion to the rank of Factor, she was placed in charge of the Mercykiller's effort to remove what was left of the Far Realm invaders by the Ward Monitor Factor Swan's Son. The dark elf did not sit quietly during this time, moving to replenish the Prison's forces and acquiring resources. Once the Mercykillers were back on their feet after a time of recovery and recruitment, Charae set her plans into action.

Charae submitted a request to Swan's Son to ask for reinforcements from Ascheron to replenish the Prison's ranks. In the meanwhile, she reached out to the chain of command below her, mustering a group of Justicars and Justices to act as a war council as they prepared their strike. Each member was of course screened for any sign of possession before permitted into the chamber. Factor Swan's Son was also invited to attend the meeting if he chose to.

"We've licked our wounds long enough. It's time we mount our effort to rescue our comrades from the taint of the Far Realm. I'll ask that no one in this room speaks of the operations we will discuss here. Our objective is to route what is left of the invaders and Justice willing be able to save our fellow Red Death in the process."

She looked across the table to those gathered. "Give me a report on what current forces you have and the resources at our disposal."

\\Please let me know if this plot is still going on. It's been rather quiet lately so wasn't sure if the DMs were waiting on PCs or what, so seeing if there is interest in restarting/continuing it.

Kiera would answer, "I have not yet been assigned a squad, but am working closely with and have taken leadership of Namers Dace and Rozalina who are assisting with my investigation of the bombing. They will both be valuable assets in this operation."

*archer would sit in the corner of the room allowing most of her body to be covered in shadow.. from under her mask she would speak* i am always at your service factor. though i work better alone and in the shadows i am still capable of ranged support in the field.

Namer Gillan, an axiomatic dwarf with more talents for numbers and lists than weapons and armour steps forward, one of his folders in his hands- as usual not wasting time for protocol or euphemisms.

"You have another three squads of right Mercykillers each volunteering for this assault. After the loss of the last squad the numbers of volunteers took a hit.
Nevertheless those who volunteered are battle hardened veterans, the best the Sodkillers have to offer."

(( DM note:

As I am running this alone this time I ask you to not split party.

Use the NPC squads for distractions, to protect the flanks, guard prisoners ect.
PCs leaving the main group of the assault will not get much attention I fear.

Keep this in mind when planning your moves.

((This is assuming Namers are in this meeting, which seems to be the case from the above comments. If not, ignore)).

Dace looks up at Kierisens assessment, nodding slightly. " Been down that way a few times. I know the streets, and I can brief the other new Namers on what to expect."

He tenses a little at the mention of the lost squad, slinking back into his seat and silently cursing his decision to speak up and draw attention...
