As requested Lord Arwyn, you will have you report, but you will understand if I take the liberty to equally send this report to a Justicar that also reports to Lady Alisohn, as the situation demands priority attention.
It would appear the Far Realm has seeped its way into the Abyss and has thus infected it with estranged behaviour from both the demons and devils within the region. I cannot say for certain what the origin of this influence is, but there is an item involved that may yet lead us to answers.
We have been informed, by one of the few, at least half-sane demons, that the item in question may attract the ire of her serenity. I forwarn you of the consequences as this letter reaches you, I do not know what will become of this.
I am... displeased, about the predicament this has had on my fellow factioneers... the situation leaves me wanting... we will need to recruit new prisoners into the ranks, through disciplinary proceedures as ever.
My concern lies strongly now with the fates of those already lost. I suggest a merciful series of executions would be the best way to end their already tormented suffering.
As for the prisoners? Prisoners my Lord, are cattle, to be processed.
We have no use for them.
Even so, I will defer to your higher judgement, and that of Lady Alisohn or more liklley her Justicar reprisentative. I will remain as ever, observant of the future and seeking answers and Justice to this unpleasant situation.

I discovered the source of the problem, for now, at least.
This is my second report, to be sent directly to Factol Nilesha or one of the Sodkiller Justicars... make sure, that this report does not reach The Sons of Mercy.
The Runner nodded nervously and headed off to deliver the report, aswell as an item wrapped in a package the report read as follows:
"Justicar...
I have found a great artifact of potent yet dangerous power, that could be used to further the factions interest. This wooden carved fish appears to have some kind of connection to the far realm, and a great deal of power involved.
If we could learn to harness its power, I believe we would surpass our rivals in subjicating the weak in our favour. We could equally use it to keep the rowdy prison riots in line if it can be, replicated into some more utility form.
Its food for thought, but I was hoping the Factol might take an interest.
The item in question is in the wrapping, do not open it unless warded first, heavily. Make sure it is contained in a chamber that could ward away insanity before studying it.
I also recommend putting down the Mercykiller Sons and Daughters that cannot be saved, those that have already gone mad likley will not recover now that the situation is resolved.
I do not know if it is the last we will see of the Archavist, the yellow robed man I mentioned in my entry to Factor Swan... but I believe for now, our part, the Red Deaths part, is done.
I hope I am duley... recognised, for my service to Justice."

((( the ownership of the Wooden Fish needs resolving )))
//// On another note: ////
A prisioner has come into Mercykiller hands: one Patricia Von Slurme, former Harmonium. Convicted of Bribery, Insubordination, Conduct Unbecoming an Officer in Training (drunk on duty), and Conspiracy (desertion).
Whether or not Zoel gets first dibs to interrogate her is up to the Mercykiller Factotum.

Needless to say Zoel does enjoy a good, hard interogation, and The Scourge knows shes earned some sport for all the effort shes put into uncovering this madness, naturally she does infact petition for the opportunity to 'question' the prisoner.
