The alarm sounds through the corridors and halls of the prison, louder than the screams and whimpers of the prisoners.
Inside the ready room the Mercykillers who are on standby as today's rapid response group know that they might be needed soon.
And indeed- the door to the ready room flies open, a Justicar storming in, looking over the assembled Mercykillers then points at Goff, the stout dwarf and some new guy, some pale human.
"You two! To the deepcells. Reinforce the guards at gate 4!"
He then turns to the gaunt elf near the door.
"You! Grab your bow and up on tower 4. Move!"
His gaze falls on Asoka and his lips curl into a wolfish smile.
"You... you will hunt."
Quickly he explains, not wasting time with politeness or games.
"A convict escaped, killed a Bailiff and two of our own as he was about to be transferred from the Courts.
Scum's tag's Solmar, male tiefling, convicted of murder in six cases...and more"
He gives her a wanted poster and a small folder- probably containing the file and some warrants.
"The incident happened in front of the courts, scum has been seen running towards the lower ward, injuring two citizens.
Good hunt... and it is up to you if you want to bring him back or rather help him to find final justice.
Questions?"

Asoka opens her eyes from her silent meditation. Until now she had remained completely motionless and quiet... even to the point of unnerving others in the room. She stood and took the information that was given her. A quick scan of it to ensure information was processed and then they were placed in her pouch.
She looked at the Justicar and shook her head slightly.
"None" was all she replied to him.
She then turned and moved past the guards and made for the street, fixing any article of clothing that needed adjusting on the way.
When she hit the street she made a quick scan of the area. She was looking for disturbances in the crowd. Like ripples in the water, people would be "displaced" after being pushed aside or stopping to watch some commotion. Once she was satisfied with the proper route, she took off running in that direction.
((Asoka is a 26th level monk (damn fast) with a Dex of 32. Reflex of 37 and AC of 55... all of which will be helpful to weave through the crowd at high speed. She would be working off of sounds, mostly, following any noises or yells (out of the ordinary) in which to follow her target. Her listen is 30))

Sana questions little as she quickly heads to tower 4. She takes the poster and wraps it up and slips it into a pouch, committing the escaped convict to memory. She takes out her bow once at the top of the towers and using a scroll, casts true sight on herself and keeps watch

As everyone scrambles to position and the alarms sound Raena quietly stands up from where she was sitting and walks towards the escapees cell. She picks up the pillow from the convicts bedding she makes no effort to conceal what she is doing. Unless someone stops her she walks outside to the prison yard and the kennels and approaches one that houses a large grey wolf. She presents the pillow to the animal. Lets him sniff it and catch the scent. Then she strings her bow.

It only takes a few seconds for Asoka to get attuned to the crowd, the people.. then there is a shout, someone crying for help, someone else cursing.
It comes from the general direction of the Temple of Hermes- the street crowded as there will be some festivities soon. People are dressed in vivid coloured, wide flowing robes, some slightly intoxicated already.
Then there is the sound of an explosion behind her- perhaps the Prison?

On the tower Sana is greeted by Factotum Olaris, an Half elf warrior mage who is known for his transmutation magic and its creative use in torture.
In the distance she sees a man running through the streets, pushing down a brightly clad woman and as her companion tries to hold him he... does something and the man collapses. The running man is just about to vanish in a crowd as Sana feels herself picked up and pushed against the wall, a deafening explosion ripping through the prison.

Raena finds both the pillows and the blanket the prisoner used while waiting for his trial.
The watching guard does not mind what she does- her recent successful hunts giving her some leeway and respect.
Arriving at the kennels her wolf greets her happily but then jumps back in terror as somewhere behind her something explodes, the blast making her stumble.

The explosion is ignored. Asoka would near the crowd knowing full well that her speed would be greatly reduced within such great numbers. She spends a very quick moment scanning the edges of the great square looking for a quick way up to the rooftops of even second story balconies. Should she find one she would use her agility and acrobatics to "hop and leap" from foothold to foothold until she reached her vantage point. from that point she would quickly scan the crowd looking for the "wake" left by his passing.

Raena first gets to her feet, and then checks that Snori, her wolf is unharmed. Assuming that he is she looks back towards the prison to see the devestation the explosion has caused.
There is nothing she can do about that.
She can however try to round up the escapee. She allows the wolf to get the scent and encouraging him by ruffleing his head she sets him on the trail.

Asoka jumps up the wll, finds a ledger to hold on, pulling herself up she can get a good grip on some statue's wing and she is up on the roof.
In the distance she sees someone wounded on the ground- some people discussing, some trying to help, some gesturing in a direction and following their gestures Asoke sees the man running, grabbing something from a bush- a bag that was hidden there? Something spills out, roling on the ground but the man does not stop- he runs in a small, tight alley between teo houses and vanishes from Asoka's sight- for now.

The mage who is on the lookout with her tosses her a potion- his robes bloody, a splinter buried in his thigh.
"Potion of.. fly. One minute. Good.. hunt."

As Rae moves through the smokefilled corridors she sees a hole in the walls... a passage that should not be there. It closes slowly as she watches, outside four men running away from the prison on the ground a disabled Mercykiller guard.

Asoka would run along the rooftop, using her agility to maintain her balance and to ensure she doesn’t hit “noticeably” loose roofing cobbles. She moves towards the alley the escapee darted down so that she can look directly down into it from above.
