Secretly, underneath the Hive and deep within Undersigil a series of tunnels have begun to be dug. The Dirt within seems to be perfectly sculpted. No tools were used to dig these passageways but rather the Disintegration beams of a hired Beholder.
The tunnels begin to move through the parts of Undersigil just under the Weary Spirit Infirmary, through the Lower Ward and into the Lady's Ward, stopping in a small cistern in the sewer system that leads underneath the Ace in the Hole.
Rith had fulfilled one part of his "master plan." A second escape tunnel for the Anarchs in the event that their base was ever compromised. A way to move supplies and troops from the Hive into the Lady's Ward and other parts of Sigil under the noses of the Harmonium.
The Charity drive to support the Weary Spirit was more than a success. They would never want for bandages, antibiotics, medicines, salves, or any other mundane medical supplies ever again. This would also insure that all Anarchs would have a regular place to get stitched up should they be injured and require medical attention.
The gold that was brought in from the casino was going to be used to fund Anarch operations. The very uptight nobles of society that the Anarchs so despised were the very ones who were funding the Anarch's crusade against both them and the Bureaucrats that were in their pockets. Rith found great beauty within the Paradox, and more than a hint of humor in the Irony.
Rith Fiddir. The fool. The Jester. Charlatan. Lecher. He had begun the building of an Empire. His finances were now great, his influence spreading, all the while seeming like nothing but a harmless buffoon to the citizens of Sigil.
Just as he had planned from the very beginning.
