Words circulate among some circles of the Society of Sensation. Words that Maharaja Apharada has conceived yet another novel display to flaunt the Society's superior dogma in the public circles of Sigil and the planes, and also specially designed to give all Sensates involved an opportunity to conduct an empirical study on one of the most common yet unsought experiences by all manner of creature, yet simultaneously known to all.
The emotion of pure, undiluted fear.
The Rakshasa, recently returned from a long business voyage to The Teardrop Palace, brought with her tales of an intriguing substance found within the Pagoda´s infamous marketplaces: a form of burning incense made and used by cults and religious groups of the lower planes for their own fiendish rites. The fumes of this incense induces powerful sensory hallucinations of horrid fear and nightmares; what's special about the sticks is that everyone experiences something different, as the effects are tailored to draw out the body's deepest, darkest fears to the surface and explode them in their most extreme fashion. The Factotum herself experienced this firsthand, and with a begrudging disposition swears by the effectiveness of this element.
While nothing is concrete yet, Maharaja seeks to make an open display with a modest participation fee to ensure participation of those with genuine interest, and of course a generous disclaimer of the effects and consequences of indulgence to the Sigilites at large. Either in Arcadia's open fields or a well controlled environment within the ring of Sigil, as to avoid lamentable accidents that could tarnish the display, and the Society's standing.
