Word spreads that factotum Quinn is seeking members interested in helping with some manner of gala in the next few weeks to highlight the close of the calendar year. If some of the rumors surrounding the function in planning are true, then this affair promises to be a tad unusual.

Although this is the kind of thing Cherry would jump upon without a moment's notice, it appears the woman is entirely absent from the Cage. There are rumours floating around that she's 'Gone home' for an indeterminate period of time.

Now that the witch is back from her home world, she had a brief meeting with Quinn (initially about an interloper in the members' area) where she found out about the planned Gala. She pledged her support for the venture and was eagerly awaiting further instruction about how she could help in its preparation

The druidess forwarded a rough template of her planned hors d'ouvre to Quinn & Odette for final approval before she began on the tedious task of making and preparing hundreds of the bite-sized morsels. Gravlax Sugar, salt & fennel cured salmon with rye toast & hovmästarsås (dill & mustard sauce).
Beetroot Soup Beetroot, orange & sour cream.
Crispy Turnip Cake Fried turnip & chestnut cake with ground pork sausage, chive & cracked peppercorns.
Venison & Relish Medium-rare venison with onion, smoked bacon, red wine & sage relish on Jarlsberg crisps.
Bleaker Bites Choux puff pastry with assorted fillings.
1. Unseasoned & Unfilled.
2. Whipped Charcoal Goat's Cheese.
3. Spiced Apple & Pear Jam with Cream
4. Honey & Rosewater Mousse

With approval granted from both quarters, Cherry utilised the Festhall's expansive kitchens and staff to commence the significant and time-consuming preparations, although she had to clarify with Quinn an approximate number of participants for which she would be catering her interpretation of Winter Wasteland fare.
