Flight into New Horizon

At first the vision starts being in the library of the Sensory hall, turning in a whirl of colors. Golden yellows, dark greens, russet reds, pastel blues and variations and shades of infravison giving a map of other plant life and heat sources. The hands reaching forward for the stone in front of you. You quickly rub around the smooth surface trying warm it up, grinning ear to ear in excitement at trying something new. Your not sure what you was expecting, other then you been told to do this. Emotions are muddled along with plathera of voices, some yours from emulation, the other an elven males'.
"Go on go on, Ill be right here."

The view is pitch black at first. Your waking from a hibernation stage, a type of sleep that was never true sleep. Always there, always waiting. Echo of foot steps ring across a deck before the other presence mentally taps.

Your designation was Melethkanara, living entity with a purpose. It was about to be utilized and that only warmed you. Literally. If a mortal knew what it was like to be giving living liquid energy, then they know how "she" felt as well. Arcane link was a wire into the positive plane for her, feeding all the systems at once. Sounds from hundreds of gears clicked and started ticking into place you was all aware of. While there was no physical heart of your being, there was a core that roared. Chorus of sounds that amounted the effort moving and its musical motion.

Your looking down on a bi-pedal humanoid standing on the deck, looking at the view window, pacing back and forth, humming a tune. Vision temporary swayed as both merged, but just as much as you two could work together, you still had your own thought processes. Awareness no longer pin points to that of a humanoids just looking forward, but you was looking inwards and outwards all at the same time. Not just forward, but backwards, up, down and all around.

Of course your senses was more acute then the elfs. The on-board sensors gave you information at far as they could reach and what was returned was pattern of clicks, magical read inputs. That didnt matter the most though.

Your quickly speeding up from several thousand miles to several million miles in span of minutes. Vision outward of Wildspace is what you considered freedom. Here, you was yourself. What that was, was difficult to define. Thousands of life forces, tiny receptors from each other living entity, how he referred to you all as plants or a forest. Just a source of feelings of being alive, enjoying a drink of water and light making you want twist forward. The merged senses tell you that your arms and finger tips are now the sails and fins of the large vessel you have become.

The superimposed impression tells you just turned outwards, rotating on your side. Theres laughter rings from all inside and in your head and body, the strange bi-pedal elf in corner of your eye enjoying himself. You been at his side for a long time, you never let each other down, you know him intimately. You would protect him, never leave him. There was some realization that was a new emotion but you wasnt sure what it was yet. Something to file and update later.

Your vision continues to spin in a gyration, filled with colors that much remind you of oil on water. Hues of blues, blacks, dark violets and crimson separating, running and blurring, faster yet.
The substance you travel through was more akin to a fish in water with no resistance. Your controls are so sharp that a halt and full reverse could be pulled off like humming bird and yet
the power that fueled you made weight of over sixty thousand tons be a feather. Stars have become streaks of light and at this moment this is when you both feel the most alive, the tiny creature on board singing his heart out to some jaunty tune as he steers all that is you. When you finally "stop" your vision is all around.

Radiance of a coming dawn to the port side as below a green and blue prime turned. Not only are those rays be warmth for all your body, its the closest you know of true elation spreading out.

The view fades leaving a lingering sense of happiness in simplicity in a new day.
