Awakening of Somnos, the rightful Lord of the Domain of Sleep.
[Location: Presently within the Private Sensorium; to be moved to the Public Sensorium after verification that the sensation within is safe for public viewing.]

The memory begins in darkness with small glittery twinklings of light dancing between the shadows. In the background are small winged creatures fluttering and chittering excitedly among themselves as they watch. Immediately present are a number of people, all gathered around an ornately carved sarcophagus depicting a masked figure. The mask itself is separated into two sides, one made of a light-colored stone and the other a darker material. On the chest-piece of the sarcophagus rests a circular indent completely filled by sigil, although faint lingering impressions within the memory itself suggest that the sigil was not always whole.

Presently a silver-haired elf returns from elsewhere in the darkness beyond and places a double-sided gem within a separate indentation on the sarcophagus. Once placed inside the ground shakes for a moment, but then the tremor subsides just as quickly as it came. Afterwards there is then some deliberation among the others in the group regarding both a series of Draconic runes that surround the stone container which suggest that blood should be sacrificed and also regarding just who should be the one to do it. It doesn't take long for the group to agree that the silver-haired signer should be the one, and after taking an obsidian blade the elf cuts his hand and lets his blood spill over the sarcophagus.

As the blood trickles down the sides a strong wind suddenly rushes across the area and the winged creatures begin chittering even louder than before, which in an odd way sounds somewhat like chanting. Another tremor shakes the ground, this one strong enough to nearly knock those present off their feet. Soon the wind becomes strong enough to be a whistling gale and lightning flashes across the sky. As the surrounding darkness begins to turn to light the lid of the stone sarcophagus begins to slowly slide open. But just as it gets to the point where one might be able to see what is inside the memory abruptly ends.
