Sigil: City of Doors

[i]Hi all fellow Sensates! I had been pondering about making something special for other Sigil Residents to experience, but I don't believe I can pull it all by myself, so I was going to ask if any of you might be interested in helping with my becoming idea? Oh right, I should first mention my idea! Silly of me... [b]Illusions and Truths![/b] In a true gnomish fashion I would like to introduce the illusions and truths to those of Sigil. Letting visitors to experience harmless illusions for new experiences and hopefully to let them learn know more about themselves and remind them of their own capabilities that so often are forgotten or undermined. And for those that do not know about how illusions work, they can be used to deceive senses and minds of others. It is my hope that Sigil citizen will then learn to follow illusions they wish and admire truths that are. All participants of course will be notified of the illusions and none will be forced for it, no harmful phantoms or shadow versions will be used. Illusions due to ease of creating things that are not. I can handle the illusions so do not worry! But I do not believe I can handle more than one customer at time in which case I need some kind of other entertainment at the time for those that wish. So if you have the kinds of experiences you would like to share to those in Sigil, it would be nice! We could work together then. Oh, and if it is not ethically wrong, I would like to try to sell my family potions at the time, and maybe some of my own brew too! Let me know if you have idea or wishes to join the creation! Faer'Chik comes by on her daily visit at the Civic Festhall to see what is new to the Society of Sensation and spots the reply left to her message, placing her reading glasses on and reading the message while mumbling out loud portions of it, getting a thoughtful expression to her face as she reads the name, somehow dinstinctly familiar yet she can't quite place a face to the name. It didn't bother her long as she just decided that it might just sound familiar, then places her own reply right after it...

[i]Hi Miss Naya'il McEwan! As I promised: Illusions; Illusions are a form of deception, letting people see, hear, smell or feel things that are not there, or not experience them if they are there. Illusions are roughly divided to five main groups:[/i]
• Figment; creates a false sensation that is not personified, but everyone targetted sees the very same version. These would be normal illusionary images of persons, though only the stronger versions can have intelligible conversation.
• Glamer; Alters subjects sensory qualities, manipulating, altering or removing any of them.
• Pattern; Like a figment, a pattern spell creates an image that others can see, but a pattern also affects the minds of those who see it or are caught in it.
• Phantasm; Creates a personalized mental images, third party viewers do not see the phantasm.
• Shadow; Unlike other forms of illusions, the shadow illusions are real, they can mimic other schools of magic and deal real physical effects, regardless if subject believes it or not.
  
  As I had mentioned, I am intending to use phantasms for the event, as it seems best suited.

Faer dear,
In respect of the latest atrocious attack upon our faction, I am sure the Society and other members would not expect all to halt for this crisis. I believe we should continue with the plans for the most part "the show must go on" as many would say, but we might wish to consider the security aspects of such an event now as well. A light hearted sensory distraction for members and public alike might be beneficial to all at this difficult time.

With the Theatre and the adjoining bar occupied by our poor afflicted brethren, I would suggest we change the location to that of the Art Gallery, or if need be, away from the Festhall alltogether and make use of the Foul Spirit Inn. I leave that to your discretion and perhaps a late notice of venue we can manage to accommodate without too much difficulty.

A small notice had been placed in the SIGIS. It was fairly non-descript and low key.

To whom it may concern

Let it be known that I have resigned my position in the d'Kridis Mercantile Consortium. The reasons are my own. I no longer represent the Consortium in any capacity, shape or form. Any pending meetings I might have had, any pending proceedings or any unfinished business should now be considered cancelled.

I thank the Consortium for their partnership during my membership.
