What's This Carnival About?

What's any carnival about? The enjoyment of the residents of course! And Planeswalkers. Within the Carnival shall be held competitions, standard merchant stands filled with trash fine trinkets from the best traders around the Cage. Gambling, games, shows, songs, fortune telelrs will also be witnessed. All factions have become part of this to show Cagers the widespread philosophies of the Factions.

An individual group of performers, dancers, bouncers, guards or other types of service providers looking for work? If so, then step forth and announce yourself to the Signers so it is made official or report in the S.I.G.I.S.

We are still looking for performers of any types to join and fulfill our calendar with the shows and games. For those that takes up a time to make a show or an act to crowds will be given payment for their efforts.

((So if you have pondered about making some kind of roleplay events, this is good time to implement those here to get some good marketting and . Some ideas for those that might want to handle things:

What Kind of Program Is There Coming?

The list is not yet filled entirely, the S.I.G.I.S. will keep Cagers up to date when more is added. So far planned shows are:

Gambling Auction: handled by Rovn Pealter, a Cornugon supplier.

Fortune Telling: handled by Ritchjak NrlyRigt

Lottery: The lottery as a whole is handled by the Takers.

Drinking Challenge: This one is handled by Upset-Stomach Brothers. The challenge will be to drink then cumulatively stronger drinks one after another, if you manage to get through without passing out, you win.

Improvised Story and Act session: Cipher handled session where the participants can either alone or in group take up to the challenge to improvise story, act, song or poem based on the subject given by Cipher representers. Best improvisation gets a price.

Specific time for these will be determined by time. S.I.G.I.S. will keep you updated!

When Will the Carnival be Held?

The Carnival will last over the weekend in the carnival area, which will be currently prepared and no Cagers are allowed to approach until closer date.

((It will happen from 13th friday to 15th sunday.

If anyone wants to start to sell some RP items (DMs hold the priviledge of deciding what stats the items will have) then feel free to inform me, please add some form of descriptions or even make the items before hand and send them to me. I will deliver you those items and you can sell those in the carnivals... Note RP items... this can be:
- Food
- Stuffed Animals
- Toys
- Perfumes
- Exotic Candies
- Paintings
- ... stuff like that, you probably get the picture.))

The Cage Carnivals have now officially started!

While some bashers and cutters have no doubt got a glance at the Carnival area after it was finally opened for public, the shows will only now begin. ((to find the area, while at Sigil Main, open map, check map notes))

- Xavier has been brought to investigation after suspicion that his wares had been stolen from other Cagers. He will be held under investigation for the time being. Witness report states "I know that ring, it was my friends, something fishy about me getting it by chance here!"

The Second Day of Carnivals

Carnivals continues, yesterday the Upset'Stomach brohters held drinking contest and were proud to announce the new Cage Drinker worthy of Dwarven Honor, Kithra! Congratulations to Kithra for standing up through all those drinks!


Todays Shows:

- Cager Auction by Bleak Cabal.

• All the jink gained this way is given to the orphanage purposes.
• What this event is about is to auction all willing Cagers for those that wants to bid.
• The auctioned will be oblidged to go for date with the one purchasing them, but nothing further.
• All Cagers regardless of gender can participate to be auctioned for the evening!
• ((This event will occur 6pm, GMT +0, in the Carnival Theater stand.))

- Gambling Auction by Rovn Pealter

• Rovn will provide some unique trinkets to be auctioned, but there is a twist. Jink is not worthy for this auction, only other trinkets for exchange.
• The gambling steps up when there is multiple offers by Cagers given, as long as viable, after which die is rolled by the bidders (not auctioner). The highest result wins the auctioned trinket and gets to keep their own trinket... however all other items are lost to the auctioner if multiple Cagers try to get the trinket.
• In case only one wants to bid for the trinket, then both auctioner and bidder rolls dies, winner gets all.
• ((This event will occur 9pm, GMT +0, in Carnival Stage.))

- Xavier has been relieved from the investigation and accusations. It appears a mistake has occurred, as per witness report. "Nay that ain't my ring, I sold it to him! please don't tell Martha or she'll kill me... you're not putting this to SIGIS are you?" Heh heh... poor Gaew, I sure am.

The Last Day of the Carnivals

Alas all good things must come to an end, the last day we will still provide as much enjoyment as possible to bashers and cutters.

Todays Shows:

- Lottery

• This is a simple event handled by the Fated. Purchase a ticket for the lottery which will contain number and password, password for checking that it's viability.
• When time is up, the lottery winning number will be randomized, the one whos number comes out will be winning the special prize of One Thousand Jink(, figure before taxes)! And a stuffed toy.

- Improvised Story or Act session

• This event is handled by Ciphers.
• Cagers taking part alone or in groups will be given a subject they need to improvise act or story from.

- Two Bleak Cabal infiltrators have been taken into Harmonium custody after they were found funding group of thugs and assassins in the Hive Ward, after being pushed further, they admitted the jink was collected in the Carnival to help the Orphans of Gatehouse.

Hiring...

• Reporters for S.I.G.I.S. Pay: One thousand jink a day during the event. Task: Interviewing Carnival visitors, and publishing them in S.I.G.I.S. magazine.
• Merchants: Think ye can bring yer best merchandize in da Carnivals? Well bring 'em ye sod! Ye'll get three hundred jink a day for the effort ye do. Be it food, chivs, shells, or services. Though it oughta be real business we ain't nae charity.
• Cleaners: Lotsa folk makes a mess, it's our job ta clean it. Ya work for us an' ya get paid. Simple like tha'. One hundred jink a day.
• Are you capable to add to the show program on your own? If so, you are given two thousand jink given the effort is real. In such cases, the staff of the Cage Carnival will not be doing any further physical work, but it will reward your work.

• If you want to add up to the event with just flavor items, feel free to send me the descriptions latest this thursday 3rd. I won't be making descriptions, but I am willing to add flavor items, such as:

Todays ((Friday the 4th)) program will consist of...

Drinking Contest: By Upset-Stomach Brothers of the Indeps, last male or female standing wins. No undead allowed, or they will be drinking holy water!

• Location: Carnival Grounds - Bar.
• Time: 8pm (GMT +0)
  
  ((Mechanical Rules: This contest will be 4 strikes and you're out. Every participant will be rolling dies to determine their constitution checks against every round higher getting DCs, the one to be last conscious and not-withdrawn wins.
  - First fail of save: Feeling far more relaxed and social.
  - Second fail of save: conversation becomes less understandable and need to hold on to stay up.
  - Third fail of save: You'll be better off sitting and are really wasted, yet still conscious.
  - Fourth fail of save: You're out.))

Auction of Males: Today we will be auctioning the willing male population to the female, and supposedly to some male as well, for one evening date at the fine inn within the Ladys Ward. The highest bidders will get a free evening with the lot they paid, food and drink services will not cost anything.

It is the second day of the Carnivals, and the day coming is expected to be calm!

Todays ((Saturday the 5th)) program will consist of...

Talent Hour: This time written in proper tongue, despite Xaositects sponsoring. Talent hour is where all performers, singers, dancers, actors or other artists can come to show their talents for Cagers. The winner will be the one that gets loudest cheers on.

Gambling Auction: By Rovn Pealter, Cornugon Fated. A simple gambling auction where an item is presented by Rovn, and anyone wanting to bid on the item needs to present their own roughly equally valuable trinket. Then there will be die casted by everyone. The one that has highest roll, gets to keep their own trinket and the one presented by Rovn, everything else has then become Fated property.

Miss Cage Contest: Time to see who is the Miss Cage during these fine Carnivals. Having an outfit on is mandatory. Winner will be the one that gets loudest cheers or drooling by the crowd.

There were games and plushies to buy, unusual foods and drink, folks and creatures of all sorts both trading and providing custom. There were potion sellers, an enchanting store, a mindflayer selling interesting rings and helms, a few bars and lounging places, a zoo of beasts some penned some freely wandering and a big stage for the auctions.

Yup yup, the carnival was sure a fun place to hang out.

Of particular note to one wee pixie Piri were the following which she mentioned something of to a carnival reporter of SIGIS.

There was a bard named Aarlin who could dance better than he could sing. She thought he was cute and ended up bidding and winning for him at the auction of males for the sum of 700 jinx, agreeing that as there was so much fun to be had still at the carny, to postpone the dinner date to another time.

There was a peculiar ferret. She managed to spot it and tried to follow and find it when it scooted off, with no success. It could speak, and its talk of making things go 'boom' captured her interest. She missed the drinking contest on account of spending time chasing the ferret. Seems the fella bard outwon the heavy drinkers such as her friends miss Mir and mister Masha not to mention the smelly dwarves.

She got promise of more than a date from that wizzie fella mister Aeron. Now she had to make a fresh batch of hair increasing potion as well as a red or gold colour making potion, she could not decide which she preferred...his hair already had reddish tints. Red, she thought. Not only that, he'd agreed to wear some pink, and she didn't have to trick or bargain him into saying yes to that one either. In fact one elf came by with weak red hair in pink robes that she could point and give example to to this wizzie to show him just how fashionable he would look in something similar. It was funny that that same elf male-she named Gluboiy bid and won for the wizzie's 'date' at the auction of males.

She made bid too on the pink-shorted big orc but lost to her tailed friend Mir to a sum of 900jinx. Rumours were all over the city that one was a fey-killer. She hoped Mir would get large pounds of orc flesh for 'that' date.

The other fellas at the auction were sorta cute, but damaged goods in her eyes. Mister Fargul, good chef though he was said to be only had one eye, and the other fellow mister Teuso wore blindfold and couldn't even see! They both went to good homes, that of miss Isonade and miss Noren respectively, she nodded.

After that she flitted about the carnival after the auction on a high buzz hunting ferret and her cousin Tixie, finally to drop into a pile of sumptuous cushions at one of the vendors for a wee snooze.

((OOC: Excellent timing on the Miss Cage contest Mr_O. Going out drinking for a birthday party tonight, and should be back just in time to bring Purity for the contest :wacko: ))

Gluboiy was very excited at the Carnival. After directing an human, amusingly named Dracos, like his friend Drakos, to the Carnivals, she threw herself into the party atmosphere.

He saw Drakos there watching the Drinking contest but she ignored this and went to check out the perfumes and plushies before heading off to the stage for the Man Auction. She'd been looking forward to this all week!

Her first attempt at bidding for Aarlin she lost to the pixie Piri when the price went too high. But then she got her chance with the wizard Aeron, who apparently loves nature and walks. She won him for a sum of 500 jink!

The promise of the date had to be postponed until the next day though, but Gluboiy made her interests clear, running her hands up his legs to his groin and playfully fondling him.

Oh, will the wizard in for a surprise when she gets him to a private room... he said he liked snakes, meatballs, and creamy juices... he'd certainly get some of that!
