*Although there had been several others taking notes, Gahiji the sensate decided to make a stone recording of their most recent meeting with the slayers, during which they were hired to observe and to provide security against a confirmed celestial aligned threat.
*It would have been unfair to call it a fight, and apparently, the recorder of the stone didn't wish to dwell on it. It wasn't her first kill on a gold, but the way it happened left them dissatisfied and disquieted. The last planetar vanished under the blue's claws and a half dozen other planeswalker's tools and then they promptly moved through the portal to the slayers realm. It was falsely idyllic from her point of view. The greenery and sound of running water in the background contrasted with the oppressive atmosphere of -the slayer- and his numerous agents surrounding the group in the small clearing they entered. They appear to have just finished eating, but while some stood out in the open, others were shrouded in a invisibility effect, those moving to stand in or near the flanks of their group.*
"You may dismiss your wards. You are in no danger." Or so he declared, despite the number of his agents in play. It wasn't a request, not really, she let hers fall away, others... weren't. Oncemore, hiring the contents of a bar often resulted in rogue operaters who didn't really know how to read a memo. One of their "leadership" for the discussion similarly refused. The slayer was unconcerned, this was his turf, the words were likily a power play.*
Ambris folded his arms. "Hello, Alszton. Please make this quick." "Hello Ambris Troile... At your request, I shall." Replied the slayer."
*One of the random bar dweller that had been recruited to stand around and be silent decided to start talking.* "While you are a glorious human. Alas, the last time you cut my throat after monologue long enough that my etherealness cut out. So... I won't be taking that chance again." *To which most everyone involved staped away and or spoke out in various volumes.* "He's a god, moron. Now shut up."
*The slayer elected not to respond to the picking pile of planeswalkers and started to speak terms, and almost immediately the emotional landscape of the point of view turned grim.* "I offer a peace treaty, to the City of Doors. No more hostility towards me, or any of my people, and I shall offer no more threat to the city, or any of its faction members. I wish for my people to have the right to enter, and exit the city as they see fit, and act as any other power would, who has good standing with Sigil." he continued, "In exchange... I offer your factions the ability to work my metal, and some of my secrets for the slaying of divinity... I also offer a portent of what is to come, and an offer of assistance.". In her mind, the negotiations phase later was going to be rough "Sigil will come into conflict with two divine beings soon. Sooner than you might expect. When that happens, I shall be there to help. And ask nothing in return. And take none of their power for my own."
*Another bit of color commentary from the other planeswalkers was filtered out as Ambris replied* "You will swear to the last point upon your divinity?"
"I do. I am not offering to 'help' you, as a simple guess to make myself stronger. I am offering to help you, as payment for the damage I have caused your city. Making up for the wrongs I have done to Sigil."*Replied the slayer.*
"Very well. Anything else, Alszton?"
"Yes. Sigil will be allowed to dictate a list of powers I am not able to persue. The exact number would be up for debate.. But my starting offer is 30 names."
*Another burst or frustration, the point of view didn't appreciate that either.* "I am also... willing to hear any counter-offer you wish to propose." *Well, this is going to get awkward.*
"One will be forthcoming. It will require time to be voted upon by the Hall of Speakers, however." Ambris replied promptly. "I am sure the Factions will have such to deliver once they hear your offer. " *Katherine, the other meeting lead confirmed.* "Any others words we should deliver?" *The slayer shook his head in a negitive fashion.* "Nothing else from me." *He added verbally a moment later.*
"Then your words are heard by two messengers. Charta." *Ambris replied.
*The slayer added a parting note after the dismissal "If it makes you feel any better... the three divine agents you fought represent weak, pitiful powers, who are no threat to your city... and where given direct orders by their patron to not allow you passage."
"It doesn't matter, Alszton. But I do not expect you to understand why."
*The record somewhat abruptly terminates here.*
