//Unfortunately, my internet connection has left me for the afternoon (typing this on my phone), so unless it comes back very soon, no session. We can, however, continue the story on the forums here until we can reschedule.

After a few hours of "rest" in their lodgings, there is a knocking at the door. When they open it, or look outside, they see a tall well dressed man with dark hair, tanned skin, and general human appearance. Only his glowing red eyes mark him as a demon - probably an incubus, or the like.

He gives a slight bow as the door opens, and smiles graciously, before launching into his practiced greeting speech:

"Welcome to Twelvetrees. I trust you had a pleasant journey? You must forgive what I hear was a rather rushed welcome - we weren't expecting a visit until the ship was complete.

"I am Takis, and I will be your host and guide during your stay. I'm sure you have many questions, and I will answer them as best I can."

The Hezrou hulks in the back of the group, letting Mauric do the talking. All the while, his psionic implants hum with activity as he uses it to enhance his native telepathy to read the thoughts of their incubus welcome-ambassador.

Allie fingers a throwing knife testing it's balance as the incubus walks in. 'It had to be a man didn't it?', she thinks. She puts her distaste for men aside for the moment allowing another to take the lead but keeps a close eye on the incubus not trusting it to behave.

He bowed courtly to the demon with his right hand on his lower back where he kept it as if to give signs with if the situation required it.

"Much obliged Takis. The journey was indeed a pleasant one albeit not as destructive as we had hoped. The lingering screams have lifted our spirits enough to make up for it however. I am Doomlord Ashtoret"

"A more able troupe of Doomguards will be a rare sight I can assure you that. "Knowing his hand had been placed behind his back for a little to long he gestured to the group to allow them to either introduce themslves or to remain anonymous which porbably was the wiser choice."

"We are here to aid with the completion of the ship and make sure that it becomes the master piece of it deserves to be. The Factol sent us here and we will not fail her by returning until it is afloat and operational. We have retinue of enginners and other craftsmen with us to hasten the construction."

At this point his voice grew threatning but it was baked into his usual politeness and not that easy to read but ually felt subconsciouslyun less used to subtile mind games as the fiend most likely were.
"We heard the last overseer had an unfortuneous accident. As the successor I would much like to hear what fate befell that one. As to make certain such tragedies don't redund back on us."
His tone was washed of any intimidation as continued. "I hope you could relay how the construction fare at present eventual problems and so on. I must stress the fact however that we are eager to join with the remaining workforce and sages. Would you be so kind as to guide us aboard as soon as possible?"

Takis glanced at the Hezrou as it attempted to read his mind, but all Gurugok heard was a hum and the faintest of incomprehensible whispering voices.

The incubus then turned back to Mauric.

"Ah, yes, poor Doomlord Gotthold, his death was such an unfortunate accident. He was standing in front of the ship when someone decided to test the foreward disintegrator ray. The test was a fabulous success, but Gotthold wasn't alive to rejoice. We lost quite a few of our own to that discharge as well, and the incompetent responsible is undergoing his punishment as we speak. Would you like us to hand him over to you?

"Other than this setback, construction has been going on splendidly. The ship's hull and forward and aft weapons are completed, and our workers toil ceaselessly to finish the interior and the secondary weapons. Of course, any help you can provide will only make the work go quicker.

"You will be given the grand tour of the ship later, but first, I have come to invite you to a feast. Its the best we could whip up at such short notice, but I trust you will find it enjoyable. Before we go, did you have any more questions for me?"

Azor's face turned a bit green as he pondered what manner of meats demons found palatable. He resolved to himself to pass on the victuals when they came, instead eating the hardbread and raisins he had in a back pocket.

He maintained a pleasant tone for the following conversation. The emotions reflected by his face matched his words very well.

"We were worried that the whole construction had been impaired. A relief to hear it not so. I am certain Gotthold was just as pleased at becoming one with entropy as he would have been over the successful tryout. Less enjoyable is the incompetence that caused it. We didn't come to take on problems as we have a purpose here transcending mundane punishment, alas I recognise the problem being ours as we gave him this charge. Hand him to us."

"A feast. That would be a appropriate welcoming indeed. Most generous since it has been a long journey and simple travel even if eventless can be rather taxing. At the least for us mortals with our frail bodies. Yes there was actually one more I'd like to ask you before we leave."

"Who has been leading the operation since Gottholds premature dismissal?
