Consider mentality roleplay above rollplay when thinking of rolls ;) It's majorly about roleplayability... "*he speaks in soft tone in attempt to calm him down while placing his hand to X's shoulder* Calm down.. he's not worth it" works better than "Rolls 23 in diplomacy"... them combined however, that can be nice.

Also assume conversation skills in multiplayer are more like "Benefit of doubt" situation rather than full submission. "Perhaps he's right" "Perhaps I shouldn't mess with this guy after all" but not meaning you have to bend down and kiss their boots.

Ok, one more question.

I noticed upon my char deletion it said it could save my xp pool. Does this means one can have lvl 10 char deleted ans remade again with the same lvl?

I think it's just awesome that we're actually talking about what happens to Balor heads when they blow up.
The Balor, not the head. Although the two are definitely not mutually exclusive.

This is enough to show any newcomer that they should either be right at home... or run away quickly.

This, I think that just means that all the built-up xp you have in your pools (that gives you extra when out grinding, and sometimes xp when you log in too) is saved.

Half of the earned experience is saved into the two experience pools.

You can empty one of the pools by killing monsters, the same pool can be filled again through roleplaying, discussions with other players in the bazaar for one example. The second pool grants experience points upon login, I think it might be once per server reset untill emptied, and it can be filled by the Dungeon Masters if they spot you doing some brilliant roleplaying.

However, the new character will only have access to his experience boost if his name is exactly same as the old character's name.

The downside to "re-creating" a character in this manner is that all your existing items are lost, unless you have someone to hold on to them. Based on what I know, I would ask from a DM if it were possible to transfer items in such manner from the old character to a new one.

Anyhow, about modifications to classess, I've always felt it is rather dodgy that the "Arcane Archer" class is limited to "Elves" only...

If the cold-iron and alchemical-silver ammunition work as they should, then I could say that the only other "ranged" build of similar provess would be a Barbarian with a sling...

I got to make one of them again. :D

One more question about pvp. When must "hostile" status be applied? Are there any particular rules about it?

It must be set before combat starts especially when one or more of the part taking characters are spellcasters (in which case it actually matters).
