So as I look through the threads on the forum and log into the server and look around I notice that there are no good characters. (I refer to alignment of course.) I know the setting is planescape and it should be all dark and brooding, but shouldn't there be the odd noble knight, kindly wizard or compassionate priest?
Do not get me wrong it is something I am guilty of too I have a few characters here good evil and neutral, but my two main characters the ones I am drawn back to on a regular basis are a fairly vile neutral evil, and a pragmatic bordering on ruthless lawful neutral. I am not complaining about peoples choices I am not even suggesting there should be more good characters. I am just wondering why people play the alignments they do?

Julius is a pally but as an MK he is quite pragmatic for a Holy Warrior. So not sure if he fits the usual 'good' stereotypes at all.

I think one of the reasons is the entire RP reason for people play fantasy games... to be something they cannot be in real life. While I have plenty of good characters, most are Neutral at best because I can do that which I am forbidden in the real world.
