"My concern is that this will lead to a large number of faiths sending their agents to Sigil running around searching for relics and blaming each other. This will not do wonders for law and stability in the city so it needs to be resolved quickly so as that you can all go home. I intend to speak to each group discover what they know and hopefully piece together what is going on. I thought I would start with you."

"I understand and i will cooperate as it is in my best interest to have this matter resolved as quick as possible and without getting into conflict with the local authorities."
The creature stops, turns to face the Jasidin.
"The relic stolen from us is the Shard of Decay, the blade of a Scythe wielded by one of our saints, the Necromancer-Prince Welgard. It is rather useless to those not of our faith so it was not guarded well.. a mistake.
We were able to capture and interrogate one of the intruders and it seemed the Heironites were behind this theft. The High priest cried for an attack and revenge but I suceeded in persuading him to choose a more subtle approach.
The Heironites rarely use stealth and deception, so it seemed odd they did this time. We scried and interrogated more and all leads led to this planar town so I contacted the local Cult and entered Sigil.
Here I found out about the other incidents and.... it makes no sense. I am almost sure that the thieves are impostors and never of the faith they seem to be.
So far I came in contact with three other emissaries from other religions:
Hall, a Champion if Hextor... the hobgoblin who stood by my side during the Trial.
Then there is Colus Bern, the man who stood with the Measure.. and the last one is Delmos of the Church of Boccob. The harmonium is investgating in soe murders I think... but you know probably more about this than I do."

"It seems to me that someone tries to stir conflict between the faiths. At the trial you mentioned the followers of Nurell that were slain. I have in the past required reviving by a priest. When I was I knew the power which that priest served. I doubt that a true follower of The Reaper would ignore your call. I think they were there with the intention of provoking the reaction they did."

"I have to agree. While the Reaper sometimes does not allow a soul to return it was different in this case. For some reason their souls were not able or not willing to return.
The girl was different however. I felt..."
The Wight pauses, looks for the best way to explain. "I felt her soul was still around. Perhaps imprisoned somewhere. "
