Unless someone's "claimed" the raven just outside the Foul Old Spirit, it finds itself in the middle of a Bigby's Grasping Hand.

The raven is surprised by the sudden attack but there is not much it can do to prevent its capture.

The familiar can still be seen hunting its captor over the bazaar zapping her with touch spells undoubtly channeled from its master.

Then a woman approaches- and she looks different. Refined, pretty... not the kind of woman who would roll around in the mud to capture birds. Behind her is servitor construct, a creature of wood and ropes and dried leaves, carrying a large golden cage, inside 3 fiendish ravens.

She adresses Verdant with firm but polite voice. "You are the one looking for those, are you not?"
///Whoops, missed this one earlier.

Verdant looks over the ravens (with True Seeing) and nods. Assuming they are as he expects them to be, he smiles. "Indeed I am," he says, paying her the coins, while looking over the construct with some interest. "Interesting work," he compliments.

As for Emila, Verdant is not that difficult to find, dealing with a barrage of irritations and the hopefully thinning numbers of frauds. Of course, if she approaches now, she will be recognized.

"It is. I made it myself. A most useful servant." She smiles, pockets the coin and the construct steps forward to offer the cage to Verdant.

As soon as he turns his attention to the ravens he will notice that they are a bit... unusual.

One seems more agressive than the other two, threatening them with opened beak and agressive cawing whenever they come too close. The other ones react in different ways to this agressive behavior- one seems timid, hiding on the other side of the cage, the other one endures the assault calmly.

Inspecting them with true seeing reveals the timid Ravens to be a small humanoid male with gossamer wings.

The agressive one is a towering pale woman her legs ending in birdlike talons, her hair unruly and of a coppery hue and wings of flames spring from her shoulders.

The last one... it seems to be the same as that timid one- but the picture of the creature's true shape as revealed by the True Seeing spell is more translucent... less solid than the other ones.

Kiuna spots the mirrored frustration and tilts her head. "If only I could... I can't take you back into the circle city, can I?"

She looks back over her shoulder at the portal, pondering. "Maybe... maybe I can find someone to help you..."

The bird hops towards Kiuna, then flies up to land on her shoulder.

It seems to have decided- to stay with her for now even if this means going back into the Cage.

On leathery wings Emila would swoop over the scene taking a good look. She would flit off around some corner or into an alley somewhere she is unobserved to revert to jer regular shape and then casually she would stroll towards Verdant and the woman with the three caged birds. She would try a gambit uttering hopefuly in the woman's direction:

"Ms Thurus?"

The whole time her expression would carry a smile of innocent enquiry.

At first the woman does not react- she seems to busy to watch the birds and to order her construct around as it clearly lacks any initiative or mind of its own.

When she turns to Emmy she smiles a cool yet polite smile. "Oh? You meant me? I fear you are mistaken... I am Vivana Lescerant. Recently joined the Godsmen."

Emila smells no fear on that one nor do her words betray any falsehood or lies. There is no fear, no anger as well... she seems just a bit excited.
If she lies she is very, very good at it.

Staggering under the sudden extra weight, she almost falls over, but Anacail quickly leans in against her until she regains her balance. With some effort, she manages to pull herself back up and turns her head to look at the bird perched on her shoulder. "If-if you're sure..." she bows her head to think a little. "I don't know many people here, but I will try to find someone to help you."

With that she returns through the portal, stepping back into Sigil and heading for the bazaar.

Either mistaken or fooled by a very convincing lie Emila nods.

"Sorry you look like someone I know."

She leans closer to the bird cage.

"What pretty black birds. They seem to be fighting though."
