*The House of Six Fingers once more becomes a hive of activity as several orcs, along with a group of Mael's surviving guards move a massive shipment of crystallized iron from Archeron from the Lady's ward to the Hive; while at the same time a large squad of burly, intimidating orcish soldiers take up posts around the building, building small camps along the perimeter (such as it is).

Builders of all stripes and laborers of all races from within the Godsmen, and the poor displaced of the Hive, find many day's well paid work in setting to work reinforcing the House with outer walls of solid iron with the occasional advice from the natives of Nishrek on how best to manipulate the metal*

*It might be noted the orcs are taking orders directly from Maelfina in the absence of either of the Vorgs.*

Ever watchful, the elf patrolled the Hive now and then taking note of the current troubles and tensions. He was keeping out of direct involvement for now and yet it would seem he awaited something.

He would note the activity around the House of Six Fingers from afar briefly. Beyond that he would invariably push his search on.

The House is quickly restored to its former glory. More so, it is reinforced with layers of solid reinforced chunks of Iron. These surround the outter and interior parts of the wall to protect the patrons from any further attacks from The Shadowsworn. Whats more, someone even took the courtesy of adding some air defences, though as a consequence, the building looks more imposing than it once did.

This doesnt put every bar patron off, but due to the wartime feel of the atmosphere, not everyone feels so comfortable entering a fortress in favour of a house. Still, in terms of effectivness it served both patronage needs and military benefits with equal efficiency, though like Farguls Orphanage, both buildings new drew the eye of suspicious Harmonium.

The Harmonium kept close tabs on both the Shelter and the House, they wanted to make sure mostly that neither were going to be used for militerised advances on the city in future. Their paranoia was mostly out of recent events, given the Mercykiller and Anarchist stand-off.

*Once the iron is in place, workers set about glossing over the metal with deep black paint, coating every inch of the shining metal. The end result is an edifice that looks as though it were built out of gleaming obsidian. One of the few survivors of the raid, a mage, begins creating permanent artistic displays of faerie-fire across its sleek surface (perhaps getting his cue from the famed subterranean fortresses of the drow)*

Given the latest updates in the local newspaper the single group of Harmonium that was left to the inn is quickly pulled off to other tasks.

Most orcs visiting Maelfina's place take to decorating their armours with lepoard skin style fabrics, golden trims, excessive bling, gentleman's canes and gold teeth whilst wearing bowler and top hats purchased around the city.

Its seems that now the harmonium are doing their jobs the orcs can chill out. Most are liking this place, especially the Hive and are infact required to hang around for other potential future uses. They are still a force under orders but those orders are partly to make themselves at home and fit in...

This could be the biggest single immigration of greenskins into the city since long long ago when undersigil was a little younger a place.

HURG!

P.S. The price of kittens in Sigil just shot up by a factor of 10. Cat breeders are likely to become overnight millionaires.

While attention and aid is given to the restoration of the House of Six Fingers and the more prominent and popular establishments of the Hive, the more run down sections that contained the lesser known tattoo parlour, hive houses and nearby seedy brothel building get little attention following the earlier fires and civil unrest. Lyra cautiously returns to visit the now near empty building, climbing to the top attic and checking upon state of rooms and presence still of the little stove. She leaves note to the building's caretaker, to pass on to the landlord, indicating her intention to aid fund of the rooms for the benefit of the girls, provided the top room is brought back to good state.

Then she heads down to slip to the parlour, inspecting the damage, searching for her old boss, whom she finds shuffling about, grumbling amongst some of the debris. The walls and roof intact, yet much burnt adn singed and looking bedraggled. Lyra slips him note, an offer to help fund the restoration in exchange now for a partnership in the business. She is firm with him, her gestures clear, precise, her expression, a tilt upward of her nose and firm chin indicating her serious intent. She leaves to let him think upon her offer, hopeful.
