Resurrection of Rastak Merl
The wandering tormented soul, a distorted fraction that was left of Rastak after his death, heard a calling voice in midst of the Ash Wastes of Quasielemental Plane of Ash close to the Fortress of Vecna, the voice sounded distant, yet somehow familiar as if he had heard it ages ago, but it was difficult to grasp where, when or who... the voice spoke his name, but even the name sounded alien to him at first, after the long struggle of concentrating to the tone, even this required effort...
The female voice asked something of him, he told her that she shouldn't be here and looked around carefully to make sure the more prominent servants of Vecna didn't see him stopping... there wasn't much time, he answered her question as best as he could remember, but without Zhytesh his mind had become cryptic and confused same as through death... he didn't have enough time to explain fully until crowd of zombies and a lich approached and surrounded him... the time was up. Lich told to the scrying Arvolexia that it was forbidden to look into the Whispered Ones domain, and suddenly reached to the air, it's finger tips breaking through a certain barrier in the air as if a portal producing a shimmering light, but then the lich set out a loud hollow cry as the portal shut, it appears Arvolexia had closed the scrying device while the liches fingers had gone through it...
The lich didn't mind long and turned its attention to the remnants of Rastak Merl, the zombies started to reach and tear him apart, inspeakable agony spreaded through the tormented soul, even increasing as the lich spreaded its darkened words, some producing spells of tormenting, others praising the Vecna...
Time passed and after five days the soul of Rastak wandered through the Quasielemental Plane of Ashes ash plains like nothing had happened, in truth, it had little to no memory of anything that had passed... but then it came, another time the distantly familiar voice requested his attention, this time it was not to ask questions... this time it requested to approach and come to it, tempting and alluring offer of freedom from the eternal suffering, offer which he could not decline and his soul traveled through the borders of planes forgetting in process everything which had occurred after his death as the rules of dying demanded, right to the reproduced body of the exploded pieces...
Rastak lived again.
Gasping for air as his nude body tried to get to same line with his mind for control of the muscles, beating heart, cooling wind, softly splashing waves to the sandy shore where he was lying down... Elysium, Thalasia during night. Rastak didn't know the place, and the person next to him that had resurrected him he didn't know right away, until she showed herself properly. It was Arvolexia. Rastak lost his conscience...
... Once he woke up, Arvolexia was still patiently waiting, a light conversation of reasons for the resurrections and what was expected of him went on, as well as demands from Rastaks side and for some information... the two of them got closer to each other and got locked into a kiss, but before getting forth, Rastak managed to gather his thoughts and not get forth. He simply agreed to terms of Arvolexia, one of them being helping Vorr with certain task, but remaining cautious, he knew how she was after all... she hadn't told everything, but at the moment he didn't have power without Zhytesh to oppose her. He took clothes she offered and created a new public character for himself to allow travelling through Cage... Malachor, a blood for hire.
His first goal was his own safety... contigency plans against Cagers... Kelth... and even Arvolexia, she knew too much.

Kelths Weddings... first attempt of Revenge
So the berk still lived even after the explosion? How?!... no matter... it only made things a little bit more complex, for the time being, he didn't know that Rastak even lived, and it better remain that way. But now he's even having weddings with that Naya'il... weddings, easy prey...
Opportunity arised when a pale female Hardhead came to ask from him about Rashemen Artefacts, Rastak gently got her to elaborate for what purposes she needed such... only thing he knew about Rashemen was Jhuild, Rashemen Firewine and told to her of such, but not where to get such... if she couldn't find it anywhere, it'd be his opportunity of revenge... but what was the Hardheads name again? Rastak wandered to the Hardhead while she was talking to someone else, politely walked to her, greeted and stated that his name was Malachor, as expected she went with social terms and in return introduced herself as Zilvai... that was all he needed and continued on his way.
He looked for the bottle of Jhuild for long time, and eventually found a street merchant that had a single bottle, whether or not it was the real thing didn't matter, it was expensive, but necessary cost... now for the other ingredients of his revenge... Callena Mushroom, powdered into the drink, a scribe to write two letters for him, a messenger and something of Arvolexias...
The mushroom was easiest of the four, he already knew the Herbalist in Great Bazaar had such, or at least once in a long time ago had, yet another expense, but it didn't matter, after all Arvolexia had given him some jink to spend as he pleased. He powdered the mushroom as best as he could and added it to the bottle, sealing it properly and making it mix well by shaking the bottle a bit. Next stop would be a scribe, but luckily the Cage has all kinds of services available, he spoke out loud to the Scribe that wrote him letter that described of 'anonymous admirer of Hardheads eaves dropping of conversation about wanted Jhuild bottle as gift to Kelth and giving such.' After which he stored the letters and paid to the Scribe... now to the hard parts.
He walked to the Foul Olde Spirit Inns upstairs to come to meet Arvolexia, but she had just got out of her room apparently and seemed somehow different than usual, but it didn't matter to him... he walked to Arvolexia and stated that he wanted to talk with her of few things... in private. She took them to her room, where he explained that he had talked with Vorr and knew what he wanted out of him. After this he approached Arvolexia and reached out to her cheek, moving slowly and gently while observing how she reacted to his proximity, she seemed to go with it for now and suspect nothing, he pulled her to a hug and eventually to a soft kiss, taking his both hands to her neck, one behind her neck, fiddling with her neclase, all the while rubbing his neck and kissing her ever more passionately, finally opening the lock of neclase and rubbing her neck while pulling it away to hide the theft... hiding it to his fist for now, and pulling off the kiss gently, looking into her eyes and stating that he needs to go... she didn't seem to notice a thing as he left, so he put the neclase to his belt pouch and left the room, wiping his lips with back of his hand... another success.
He placed the neclase inside the bottle and once more sealed it properly. The poisoned drink was ready, all it needed was delivered to Kelth by someone else than him. He went to the streets and proposed a easy delivery task for jink payment, his luck seemed to fail as Zilvai walked right when he was offering it and over heard the conversation, but instead of telling the exact matter, he asked the one that was interested to follow him into private place. An elf that appeared to be mute, perfect candidate. He offered the job for her and explained terms that she'd have to follow, she made very good impression to him so he even added a little extra, he told her to take the bottle and letter to Harmonium Barracks and tell them to give them to Zilvai...
Now all it required was waiting after Lyra had taken the bottle and letter.
---
Little did he know that although succesfully delivered to Zilvai, she tasted a bit of the bottle, the powdered Callena Mushroom was a toxic that created hallucinations, the small dose that Zilvai tasted didn't reveal much to her, confusion at best and she delivered the gift to Kelth in the Wedding... or rather not, since an accident occurred and the bottle broke on the way. The amulet ended to Zilvais neck for time until Arvolexia got it back.

Contigencies and Vorr
Rastak had attempted to find the black leather covered tome for the time after he had been resurrected, but Arvolexia had seemed to be using it as a carrot for him to do as she wants, Vorr had not seemed to know where it was... or if he did, he hid it well. He had to find the book to gain his power back, Zhytesh could not be brought back anymore to grant him power, he knew this... Shadows ceases to exist rather than souls be thrown to planes. This reminded too much of his past, failure of a mage with great knowledge... waste of all the potential.
Vorr had requested him to search information of a certain container that possessed a certain marking, yet this container could not be found through mundane magical means, nor were there written histories of this container anywhere near to be found. Naturally Rastak knew a few ways immediately what to try to find it, but first he wanted to get the tome and quarantee his own safety... no purpose helping others if it proves fatal to yourself he thought.
Before he could even start to plan his systematical search well, a vampire came and delivered the tome for him, the vampire requested him to know the title, which he naturally did... vampire didn't seem very willing to tell where it had come from, but he didn't truly need to know... a mutual and anonymous friend works just fine. In private he started searching through the pages he looked for new ways to gain what he had lost in that single fatal explosion...
A pact with a devil, a dangerous route, however perhaps the best way to handle things. Looking through the tomes pages for names of fiends he found one that seemed to suit the best for him... Morden the Infiltrator, a descendant of Fallen Angels, a true manipulator. Dangerous, but subtle, something that would suit him best, relatively easy to deal with if you're ready to accept certain losses... if not, then the devil would still have to abide by the rules set. Blood... he'd need a real arcaners blood, his current powers were insufficient for the time being.
Other intriguing findings within the tome were two certain trinkets that he might find need for...
Promising to find some information of Vorrs mystery container, he asked for a scroll of greater planar binding, five baatorian candles and arcaners blood, the two first Vorr could provide and last one he promised to come after seven days, after this he took his leave and admitted heÂ’d no longer contact Vorr directly nor would be remain in his current identity. Rastak went to the inn room Arvolexia had got for him, gathered everything he owned and took his leave, leaving no notices, letters or anything of his sudden absence nor did he take any contact to Arvolexia of the sudden change to plans. He disappeared once more, changing identity and generally acting differentlyÂ… costy, but luckily the jink Arvolexia had provided her was enough to handle the costs.
After he had got enough time to start over and gather a little jink by offering services as stuttering consultant around Cage he finally contacted Vorr again, indirectly as he had promisedÂ… seven days had passed and there had been no luck with the blood, but it was only a minor set back since Rastak was a patient man, he tasked Vorr to create him a Blood Beacon and two Communication Mirrors to keep contact with Vorr more easily than having his imp try to speak for him, much to Rastaks surprise the imp returned with the trinkets not long after he had sent it to forward the message and even more surprising was the lack of cost on the two despite creation of them costed plenty.
It did not take long until Vorr had gathered two vials of arcaners blood and had contacted Rastak through the communication mirror of it, he sent his imp to fetch them for himÂ…
At Last I am Whole Again!
Rastak wandered in the Under Sigil to look for open and distant hall or room for the summoning ritual. This specific one he wanted to do in private, for he would summon a devil which he would make pact with. After hours of searching he found a fitting one finally.
He takes out all the supplies required, five baatorian candles, ink mixed with powdered obsidian, the two vials of blood he had got from Vorr, scroll of greater planar binding, empty parchment as well as an half empty alchemical compound that waited to be finished, with the blood.
With the ink mixture he drawed slowly and precisely arcane symbols in circular pattern around the spot he decided to summon the fiend, chanting the command words afterwards to activate the lesser wardings, these would not help much, but every little pre-caution might prove life saver. Then he combines the first vial of blood with the alchemical mixture, sealing the potion and shaking it a bit to let it mix properly. Now that it was done, he hesitated for a moment until he quaffed the contents of the potion in one go, it tasted terrible, but was crucial within the next twenty minutes that it lasted for. A mostly forgotten and forbidden recipe, one which increased arcane capabilities for short period of time, but also carried a great price causing him be mostly paralyzed for the next day.
Feeling the compound doing its work and spreading a tingling sensation of spreading arcane energy that was so distantly familiar all around his body, waiting for it to settle in he takes deep breath and moves faster to handle the rest of the ritual before the effect would disappear, with his heightened arcane senses he could work far more precisely with spells and also it appeared the owner of the blood had originated talents of their own that had now passed temporarily for him, although perhaps only tiny portion, but it had to be enough for now. He wasted no more time and placed the five baatorian candles inside the arcane wardings, took out the scroll and started to chant arcane words, the scroll slowly fading as its power got used as the spell reached to its end he climaxed by chanting the name of the summonedÂ…
“Morden the Infiltrator!” he chanted loudly…
… it took a moment before anything happened, but then a crackling sound bounced to the room, it seemed like a crack in the reality as if it was merely a window that got broken, soon two sets of eloquent pale-blueish female fingers fought through the small crack and forced it to spread into blurry view of burning wastelands behind now to the room entering tall female that had red feathered wings, dark red hair and light blue tinted skin, looking towards Rastak with its two ruby coloured eyes, it spoke on demanding tone “Why have you summoned me mortal?” she spoke in common.
Rastak thought for moment before replying in infernal “I wish to bargain a deal with you Morden… grant me arcane power and I promise to grant you five souls of my choice in return. A pact with you and infernal forces…”, for this offer of his, Morden didn’t seem quite impressed of this nor of his linguistic talents. She replied in soft, tempting and promising tone in infernal as well “Your offer is generous mortal, but so very boring… I want to…” she let it trail out and linger in air for while longer until she continued… “control… over your body for one day each month, at any point I decide. Possess is the word.” She walked calmly around the portal, running her tender appearing fingers in the weak barriers, testing their strength.
He thought about the offer she had made, attempting to remain even faced, but didn’t quite succeed in it… although showing only mild dislike, it was enough to tell Morden of it, but he required power and was rather desperate in gaining it, he reluctantly agreed “I accept in terms that you do not attempt to put me in disadvantage, life threatening situation, nor reveal my secrets to others.” he thought this would cut all the side-effects…
“Deal” the erinyes agreed without hesitation and left Rastak to wonder had he forgotten something crucial. Morden continued by breaking her hand through the barrier with only little effort and startled Rastak with this small gesture, though he recovered quickly and offered her empty parchment which she took and pulled back inside the barrier, chanting few words of power the parchment started to fill itself with infernal contract.
Before it was entirely filled Rastak reminded her “I won’t sign it until I read it’s only about what we agreed.”, to this Morden smirked and chanted new words of power making little of the text alter, after it was done she handed the parchment to him and instructed. “Sign it with your own blood.” she once more broke her hand through the barrier and waited. Rastak took out a quill, read through the parchment, seeing it was all in order, cutting a small wound to his left arm he dipped his quill to the wound and signed the parchment, tending to the tiny wound after this and handing the parchment to Morden.
As Morden gets the parchment, she points her both hands at Rastak starting to chant darkened words even he couldnÂ’t understand, but the melodical rhytm was enough hypnotic to keep him at bay even though she approached eventually to touch his cheeks, but there ended the pleasantries since on the moment she touched him, a burning sensation spread through his veinsÂ… the pain and agony, it only got worse and finally he couldnÂ’t handle the pressure and let out a loud primal low and rumbling wordless cry to the eerie halls echoing far as the infernal energy spread to his entire bloodline, it ended as soon as it began, though he found himself on his knees panting for air rather than enjoying the spreading sensation of arcane energyÂ… soon he found out of this much more clear connection.
He studied the pool of arcane energy he had not felt before and called it forth, seeing it would take a while for him to fully grasp the way to handle this new pool of energy… he let it go for now and got back up to his feet, finishing the meeting with only few words “Our dealings have ended for today…” and he started to get back to his inn room to get proper rest until the alchemical compounds side-effects would kick in.

- Blood Beacon An orage orb with flickering red fiery mist inside it, this orb confuses spells that are meant to find a person, rather than targetting at the person, they find the Beacon. To create this beacon you'll require an essence of power, one which is enough strong to glow, blood of the person that you'll want to hide, a ruby and a diamond to create the orb. Concentrate arcane energy to shape the gems into a thin and small orb, then use arcane energy on the essence of power and blood to force them inside the orb. Chanting arcane words to bring forth the wanted effect. After this the Blood Beacon is ready. Communication Mirrors Two mirrors, both can be in shape and size of any wanted, without password they're mundane, after password is spoken, they open a communication channel through each other. It is not portal, it can only show and take voices through itself. Although certain spells might make it able to see invisible through itself as well, but nothing can physically go through it without additional spells. To create one, you'll require mirrors, two diamonds, and two essences of water, enough strong to be glowing. Through arcane energy, melt the essence and diamond to a single mirror and in climax speak clearly the password... for the other same, except additional arcane means required to create connection between the two, for they cannot contact any other than their sister mirror. [/li]

*the following story has occurred during Mordechais long absence, author only has been lazy to write it down earlier*
The Plague
Reading through my ever growing book and information collection, I stumbled upon an interesting section that could prove useful on my goals, difficult and dangerous process, but if handled properly it would create just the necessary distraction for me to get what I truly want and remain unseen...
Fusing creatures into one, in manner of speaking, to empower the individual and let them adopt properties of each separate host, to extend if nothing else. I've decided that a human makes for best host, adaptable and simple. One of the fused ones will be a Blue Slaad... parts of it at least, the disease is what I find most intriguing in the slaads, spreading from one to another to create more of themselves... third will be rather intriguing and unique kind of fiend, a Guebucu... it will prove more difficult than the other two as it has no physical body of its own.
On other hand, that is why I got the mute elf steal me that glass jar, it should be enough to keep it inside with provided few enchantments...
First Ingredient
Blue Slaad, what a disgusting creature it is... a blue frog like creature which babbles nonsense. To capture one of these I ventured to the Limbo, finding the portal took a little effort as it does not seem to have a single lingering spot, once I managed to get inside the plane, on a single floating piece of land, perhaps merely twenty meters to each side, above me floating multiple similar things, from few there was waterfalls raining downwards. My mind told me that this couldn't be real, but my eyes did not trick me. Right by the land I stood in came another with a house and few trees burning on it as it passed the land piece I stood on...
Stepping to the edge of the land and looking down, there seemed to be multiple similar lands all around, seemingly the waterfalls from the upper lands seemed to connect into waterfalls raining up?... so it seemed. There was no clear way out of the piece of land and nothing of interest in there... so I picked a rock and threw it towards one of the land pieces, the pace at which it fell seemed to be slow enough and non-dangerous... so I simply took some speed and tried to jump to thirty meters below piece of land. Quite the odd sensation when you have time to look around casually while dropping I must add... once I hit at the edge of the land piece, much to my surprise the land piece started to turn around due to the impact... I embraced myself to the closest bush quickly to avoid dropping... once the piece of land had turned around meaning "down" was up for me it became stable... but I did not drop. Carefully I let go off the rooted bush and walked normally.. though upside down... indeed the gravity worked oddly here.
I continued the journey through few pieces of land in this manner, nothing seemed constant, nothing seemed to make sense, yet everything seemed to fit in for some peculiar reason... seeing few Githzerai outposts which I carefully avoided. Finally I found two blue slaads, they seemed to be discussing... if that could be called conversation, mostly they were saying sentences which made no sense what so ever. They had not seen me, which seemed like good way to get rid of the another and then subdue the other, I gathered arcane energy to my grasp and aimed well and long... then set out burst of the energy, only there was something I had not thougth of... wild magic. The spell started to slowly move and fizzled up as if consumed by something.
Frustrated I tried again... and again... and again..
Then it seemingly had some effect, though not the wanted one, small rocks and plants on the platform started to bounce at the slaad and it became alerted and annoyed, looking around for whom had done it, soon after the next blast it started to blast towards the slaad, first it seemed succesful... but then it started to circle in the air and I reflexfully covered behind a rock, the entire blast force broke parts of the rock and splintters of the rock started to float around.
Now the slaads knew where I was and both of them jumped to get to the platform I was in, without wasting a moment I tried again... this time it worked as intended and one of the slaads was down for a while, stunned from the blast, though not dead... concentrating on the charging large remaining blue slaad, I decided to try to get them separate and jumped upwards towards next platform... the slaad was faster, but I had good distance between us still... jumping up and managing to get to the edge and tried to shoot back at it the spell once more fizzled into nothingness, however this time the slaad jumped to the bottom of the land piece...
Grinning I thought it had made mistake and walked to the middle of the landpiece, but in truth, I made the mistake, the slaad had powers of its own, one which allows walking through walls and it had done so with the land piece and become right behind under me snaring my legs as it came up.
The next few moments I felt more pain than I have felt in ages, luckily however pact with Morden had hardened my skin and gave me capability to treat wounds to extend or I would've died... somehow managing to blast the slaad once to get it back off, bruised and bleeding all over I initiated the fiendish pact, a burning sensation all over the body spreaded especially around the wounds, as if the wounds started to burn themselves up into regeneration, blood and wounds disappearing painfully into black vapor, however this was only something my body could handle once in twenty four hours... trying it again and it'd likely consume my strength entirely...
I needed to be more careful and the slaad snarled at me, using another of its capabilities by pointing its hand towards me, something hit me on back, though small object it still made me turn around... understanding I had once more been fooled by the slaad and it yelled. "I'm behind you!" It had used telekinesis to move object to distract me, so rather than fighting now, I decided best was to flee into more suitable position, just barely managed to invoke the words to make myself hidden and dodge the attack...
No more toying I thought, aimed at the slaad once more from distance and simply started to sling the spells towards it, having luck with two spells succeeding simultaneously that it could not dodge finally put it at bay... as it finally fell unconscious, I placed multiple drugs into its veins so it'd remain docile until further needed... with great effort I managed to drag it back to the Cage as well, in which I dragged it to my small lair at the Under Sigil, while it took a good while to clean it up and remove the vermin... it would suffice... I gagged the large slaad, placed shackles on it and added another dozage of drugs in it...
Too close.. and more rest is needed.

*the following story has occurred during Mordechais long absence, author only has been lazy to write it down earlier*
Second Ingredient
The next one is a Guebucu, a demon without physical form, I truly am unsure what to seek when I enter the plane of Abyss, the tome of Demonology described them as twitching gray mass of vapor when observed through magical means, it also said they reside in the layer 230, around the Dreaming Gulf, where the dreams of deities in the dead book drifts on alien currents, I was required to pay great deal of jink to learn about the location to such.
These demons tend to fight only through middlehands, creatures they possess. This should make it simple to capture one, the demons tend to have straight forward tactics, while not the best idea, I will expose myself to create a trap for the said Tanar'ri. They are parasites, which makes them useful for this experiment.
Trusting to the capabilities given by Morden I stepped through the portal, the sight was rather much... charming. Everything was quiet, there was no ambient sounds at all, but sound was not absent on this plane... each step I took created a sound bouncing to distances. Enviroment was much like being inside a humongous orb, plane spreading against each direction and opposite end right above me. Sections of the orb seemed to be rolling spontaneously as if some exterior force was trying to solve the puzzle of this layer to make sense of it.
The shape of the layer made it simple to find the assumed Dreaming Gulf, it seemed to shape itself worm like moving as the layer itself shifted into new locations, so all I truly had to do was to look for high standing point and wait for it. I picked one close to the portal to make sure escape route would be fast to find...
As the pattern changed its direction every now and then made it several hour worth of waiting, but eventually my patience was rewarded as the gulf came close, the waters drift showed images and it seemed like liquid shaped with hands, faces and heads occasionally tried to get out of the gulf or escape the agony... it seemed enjoyable, though rather unsophisticated. Then I saw some grey fog like thick vapor approaching from multiple directions...
They were here.
Grinning I attempted to make them scatter, but something I had not known about... this sodding layer was also a sodding wild magic zone, the spell fizzled and created a colourful light show. That was not good, so I decided to abandon the matter and try it another time with better plan instead... starting to run and attempting to avoid the closing in Dreaming Gulf, I aimed at the portal, two of the Guebucus were reaching out and one managed to step inside me in attempt to possess me, the other one stayed back after that, with the last parts of my will I stepped through the portal and into Sigil Streets...
Back in the Sigil, I knew something was not right, though I still could control myself... it was alarming feeling, I assumed I should fix the matter as soon as possible and set my travel back to the Under Sigil to the laboratory... turned out the Slaad had woken up... babbling something, though it seemed like it was rather numb due to the drugs it managed to make a mess with spit alone... disgusting...
There was always one way to get rid of the Guebucu... having to have made pact with Morden about something... so I wrote a letter in infernal to Morden..
"The Tanar'ri you'll find within the mind is naught but a nuissance, once you get rid of him, do not kill it, merely place it inside the jar, it will be safely locked in there.
- Rastak Merl"
That should do it, I believed and hoped the demon could not read infernal, since that'd create further problems... I placed myself so that the slaad was right behind the glass jar and I on other side... then started to concentrate my mind in attempt to give the one day of the month I had promised to Morden to her...
... my mind went blank after that for a day, I have no memory what occurred after it, but it had appeared to work. The Guebucu was in the jar, a message left under my letter was in different handwriting.
"Puny weakling..."
It said... I suppose I could not argue with that, and she still needed him...
As a side note, I also noticed that I had over half of my jink missing and had some receipts of places I do not remember to have visited... I suppose when she possesses, no memory is left. Now to wonder where I have been in last day...
Third Ingredient

Third Ingredient
A human... I will need to capture one of these as well... I suppose I will need to contact that mute elf once more...
*addon to this chapter is written*
So I managed to contact the mute elf once more, or rather my servant managed to contact her. I gave her fourteen days to finish the task to receive an enchantment and six thousand jink. A small payment for the task to remain unseen.
After the fourteen days was over, she indeed did deliver the said human male, a drugged human, whom was roped and gagged as well, was brought to the pre-defined location, in which the payment and the human changed owner, for a first time in a long time I decided to pay a visit there personally, with proper caution of course and distance was to be held. Jink was given right away, but the enchantment would take time to make, so it would be brought tomorrow in same location to her. Once we were to part, my servant imp lingered behind to make sure she would not follow, while me and the drugged man left.
The man could hardly walk with me while dragging him to the location, he didn't really understand the surroundings or much of anything going around, so it was easy to get him to the "lair". A humble and cheap apartment with two sided lock. all the necessary things were here, but nothing which would be personally mine truly... a blue slaad which was also drugged and chained to a wall, a human sized clear jar which was surrounded with colourful arcane scriptures, these made sure the guebucu would not escape or use its capabilities while inside.
I took the man to opposite side of the slaad and chained him to wall as well. Removed his personal belongings that could be deemed any form of threat to me, small objects that might open the locks, spell components, holy symbols or anything used to casting spells, armor and weapons... all placed to a box nearby. After all, I have no need for them... after this was done, I cleaned the nearby table to have space for him. A piece of rope was placed on each leg of the table and other end on top of the table, to tie him up tightly.
Now I moved the man to the table to make the process easier... tied him up, the ropes enough tightly to make sure he can't even bend them to aid himself, not that he could initially even figure out what was going on due to being drugged... but once the pain goes through him, the adrenaline would make him more conscious after all. It was a simple task, I explained him detailedly what I was going to do. Showed him my scalpel as well, to see how he'd react... not much so far, though his focus was coming back.
I went to the slaad, the very aggrovating piece of flesh, placed a club on its mouth, deep enough to make sure none of its teeth could hit me. After this, I simply started to stab the thing with the scalpel for all the trouble it had made, the thing offered no resistance in its drugged and chained state, but I did not kill it. I needed to make sure the disease was still useable and I was not entirely sure whether its capability would fade on death of the being... only made it on its way to dying, then extracted three of its teeth, making sure none of them would scratch me. This is where the poison comes.
The infection would slowly transform the one struct into a green slaad, this will give power to him. Then I went back to the man, and looked for veins in his left and right arm, and in his neck, placed one of the teeth to each of them, quickly bandaging the surrounding of the teeth to make sure he won't bleed to death... only the infection to react in his entire body as fast as possible. I explained that the pain would only be passing, and let the infection spread on his body for while...
Soon after this I removed my gloves, took the scalpel and cleaned it to piece of robe which wasn't already splattered in gore. I had to make sure the guebucu would not leave the body when it wanted after all, this required binding runes and my blood would seal it. Using the scalpel and cut the arcane pictures to the palms, while it hurt and the blood started to run through my hands, it was only passing and necessary process, after I managed to get it done on both hands and somehow control my hands to prevent shaking due to pain...
I chanted the command words and clapped my hands together once and hard, though sound was muffled due to the blood, it did its task, the blood started to disappear in black vapor and the binding marks were activated. Shining bright red and darkness within the symbol on my palms, I pushed my both palms on his chest to left and right side same time. The marks burned in his chest instead and leaving my hands as they were before.
Almost finished... now I'd only need to get the Guebucu to possess him... this was easy to do. I used arcane scroll to protect my mind from forcible invasions, then went to the jar and examined the arcane words carefully around it, removing only a small portion that would allow it to possess, but not use other talents while inside the jar... simple and eloquent. After this I explained the man to listen carefully to explain that I am one of the few that knows how to reverse this.. and if he ever wants to become cured, then he'd have to do as I say... my imp would contact him in later date.
And it was time for me to take my leave. I used the key to unlock the door, opened it... gave a last glance at the man, used Mordens powers to become invisible one more and tossed the key towards him so he could get out as well... then left and closed the door.
While he was roped, he should manage to get over them.. either due to the slaads capabilities... or the Guebucus telekinetic powers.
The experiment so far was succesful...

"Awake ... Where am I ?"
His thoughts was muddled, being unable to concentrate fully on anything.
"Who am I?"
Memories flooding into him, but they all seemed alien and foreign, not like it was his own. A name coming to him...
"Agis... is that me?"
Trying to sit up straight, but suddenly stopping as the ropes pull tightly keeping him down. Looking at the ropes frowning.
"Ropes... undo..."
The ropes seemed to untie themselves infront of his eyes, and to much surprise. Everything about this seemed so new... what was it he had said? He struggled to remember.
"He said I would be stronger..."
His eyes looking to his body now as he sat up on the table, letting his legs hang free over the side. His body indeed more muscled now, but also a hairless and partly scaly green.
"Hungry..."
Seeming surprised by his own thoughts and speech he frowned, looking around as if looking for someone hidden in the shadows. But he was completely alone.
"This will take some time to get used to..."
Getting to his feet, he also whispered softly...
"Help me..."

Tutelage...
Ah, how unusual of me, generally I dislike taking students under me to teach them the ways of arcane, yet I took this one. Perhaps it was the mentioning of warlock? Curiosity that made me wish to corrupt or study? I truly cannot answer it at the current moment... but I will teach the ways of fiendish arcane to her, perhaps if I deem her worthy, then there will be more as well... perhaps.
She is a mere adept, hardly managed to scratch the target with her fiendish powers, also seems uncertain of the origin of her powers... something passed along bloodline without doubt. I do wonder wether this makes her capabilities weaker than mine, or if she'll grow stronger as she's born like that? Time will show... taking time to explain her what her capabilities truly are, what are the limitations and what should she expect this time. Next time I suppose I shall take a bit of practical lessons...
Perhaps if I deem her worthy, I will also teach a few simple rituals, or theoretics of creation of trinkets...

The Dead Man Switch Gloves
Something I will need to study in future is to create gloves with powerful explosive runes which only requires command words and putting hands together to activate, however not detonate, rather the detonation would occur when hands are taken away from each other... dead man switch.
This should be able to get me out of most reasonable, unwilling to die, and wise Cagers would they manage to corner me someday. Perhaps I manage to persuade to get the last prayer, as they likely know I am no diviner... this should not be unexpected request I believe.
It will require additional experimenting however.

The Dead Man Switch Gloves (Continuation)
I have finally found a recipe to make these gloves. It requires a radiant essence of power meld with radiant essence of fire burned to gloves worn same time, some of the blood in hands will be substracted to power the gloves as well, though painful it will pass. Also ten rubies will be required to be melted into the gloves... expensive, yet a good way to have plan B.
The Organization
Today, I have finally taken initiative to have mutual minded Cagers meet each other to create the organization... I gathered the wanted Cagers to one location and requested them to come disguised, after which I gave them their names... Shadowsworn and Legacy. The Darktale continues...
