As Quinn's words drift solemnly through the terse atmosphere, the door creaks faintly with the entrance of a familiar blonde haired woman. Though she seems a little worse for wear, Odette keeps to the back of the room and observes quietly through lackluster orbs.

The bard offers a nod to any who acknowledge her, though much like the time previous, she remains standing in silent support so as not to disturb the current goings on.

Dace comes down midway through Quinns explanation. He nods to those present, looking upon the unconcious elf with some amount of recognition.

"Remotely interfacing? Didn't figure that's even possible.... allright, well, do we have a destination to start with, or is this a "sail and hope we bump into something" trip? "

For her part, Brynn seems mostly quiet. She stays near Quinn as much as she can,
offering what she hopes to be a comforting hand on the shoulder to her wizardly
friend -- though the comfort to be derived from such a gesture may be adversely
affected by her lack of a body temperature. Still, she tries.

Her gaze settles briefly upon their passenger Vashtalla. She recognizes him, of
course -- they'd met briefly but shared little in the way of conversation. Still, the elf
seemed a decent sort of person, even if their first encounter brought up some of
her more unpleasant memories. That's hardly his fault.

He dips his head to Odette as she enters, offering her a grateful look. He responds similarly to the captain's entrance. In response to Dace's inquiry he merely shrugs his shoulders, subtly flinching away from Brynn attempt to be 'comforting'.

"There are a number of aspects of this case that should not be possible. He is a rather improbable sort of fellow it would seem."

He paces a few steps away from his charge. Turning toward Dace he continues.

"We do not currently have a fixed destination. Once we are outside of Sigil, though preferably somewhere near it, Our magic specialist will be attempting another scry on Argent. With any luck that will give us a better approximation of where to go. Hopefully it will be unnecessary to employ a protracted manual search."

Glancing back toward the wall flower.

"Odette, Do you know if Brindas will be coming as well? I have not seen him since we moved the patient."

[*Nimiane]

"Hmm?" the woman looks up from where her gaze rested on the silver-haired elf, though her blinking suggested she was only half present to begin with. Drawing slender fingers along the length of her jaw, her gaze drifts to Quinn thoughtfully and she pauses for a time before finally speaking.

"He didn't mention it when I saw him last. . . but gimme a moment. I'll pop out an'see if I can find both he and Vara."

Odette pushes herself off the wall with a booted heel, offers a small smile to those gathered and heads for the door.

Charae takes a blank piece of parchment and writes a note to the quartermaster for a crate of medical supplies to be delivered to the Siren's Song. She then filled out a note to place Brynn and Dace on a permissible duty assignment to the Astral. The dark elf did not appear to be interested in asking questions about the context of the lead.

"All right," Charae sealed the papers in the seal of her office. "I've given the two of you one week. I'll want an update on your progress no later than that."

She handed one of the papers to Brynn.

"Give this to the quartermaster. Is there anything else, dear?"

"No Factah, nuffing else. Oi'll tell Justice Dace tha' you said to check in. You'll 'ave a leh'ah
from us inna week or less. Fank you for your toime. Is 'ere anyfing you need ov me, or
may Oi be dismissed..?"

"No," said Charae. "That will be all. You are dismissed."

*Eve would come in with a few papers and such for Dace and Sasha to look over pertaining to the engine room and a list of overall improvements she's made to date.*

"Oh! We have guests."

*Upon seeing the downed elf she would visibly frown.*

"I take it we'll be leaving soon Captain?"

He nodded to Eve. "Tomorrow 'eves the target."
