Hograth does not look how the mounts are taken down- he rushes forward squinting his eyes as the wall of fire is appearing in front of them. A gesture to flank the wall from the left is made, the Halforc himself slowing down a bit, waiting for his troopers to execute the command.
A caster.... I must take him out quickly.
As soon as the hardheads move around the firey obstacle Hograth rushes right through it, hoping they will not expect someone to attack from this direction. He would try to tackle the caster, wrestling him to the ground to prevent him from getting off any other spells.
Sacrifice!

The man infront of the caster crouch down defensivly holding a pair of serrated curved short swords. His grip with his pinky closest to the blade. Magical darkness enshrouds them soon after Hograth leaped through the fire.
Loosing track of the others he find himself disoriented. He could only guess as were the two riders where. He knew he had to act fast or more deadly spells would soon follow.
((Realise there have been too few IG events. Prefer this one to be IG?))

((After our talk let's continue here.))
He heard a scream to his left and clanking armour as a tropper lost his bearing and got severly burnt and withdrew bumping into the other troops.
Straight ahead he heard footsteps dampened by wet sand. Hard to tell exactly were but they were both moving about. He could either charge them blindly or wait for them to make the first move. The darkness concealed him and he realised that he was not likely any more a target then the rest.

He relies on his draconic blindsense to navigate the darkness, listening, smelling, taking in the slightest vibrations.
Hograth allows himself a wild, wolfish grin. It is rare these days that he can fight like this, go all out- unleash the dragon slumbering inside him.

Light steps skipped over the sand towards him. If he hadn't seen the pair priorly he would phantom it as a much smaller being. He could see it in his mind although his eyes saw naught, the dark figure almost as afloat before landing to skip again as a bird when it alighted. There but gone in a flash.
Not a second had passed before he felt an odour behind him. Strongly it reeked of sweath, sealt, tanned leather. He feelt a blade sacrass his armour at is torso and Another at his back. This was no attempt to slice him he quickly realised the blades merely scraped against his armour with the broadside in a circular movement quickiy disengaging. Light skitter was soon after heard gaining distance fast from him. He could pantom the shadowy humanoid as retreating with the same fluid motion as before barely touching the sand with the tip of his toes.
Two meters at this point behind his back and gaining, but he figured with this opponents gracefulmovements he coudl change direction at any time.

He knows now that he is less nimble and quick than they are but he also learned they are as blind as he is and he shifts his stance on the sand, not even trying to be silent, knowing well that his heavy plates and maille will make sounds nevertheless.
The half orc ducks and moves his shield on his back, an additional layer of protection in case they try to attack him from behind, the longsword in his hand bursting into flames and he waves it in a semi circle- not to harm or cut but to probe and ingnite.
Fire scares people, makes the scream, the smoke something he could smell, giving him a hont where to strike.
His other hand he keeps open, ready to grab, deflect or push.

His opponrnt was likewise patient. Not engaging again after his priveous sortie. The faint creaking of leather still at the same distance from him. Two meters at his back.
The sword met nothing on the beach but air and drakness. The breeze grew stronger and the wind whistled through floatwood and larger branches scattered around him.
He heard fighting from his comrades and blasts of spells after harsh incatations.

Listening to the sounds of combat he realizes that one of his opponents has perhaps left the darkness again but the sound behind his back tell him something is still lurking in there.
He cannot wait to play hide and seek so he steps forward, straight forward, trying to leave the area of darkness and if he does so sucessfully and unchallenged he turns around, reading his breath and weapon to meet whatever might follow him.

As he takes one step he hears the rider behind him advance and intense explotion of footsteps. He is fast. Inhumanly fast. He hears a resounding stamp against a larger floatwood branch. In his concentrated state where each sound translated into a innly pictoral scene he saw the shadowy man take to air and dive towards him.
He saw it clearly in scales of grey animated from the blackness of the void. The shade fluttering and flickering as it closed in on him. His belly downwards and his hands infront of his head holding the serrated short blades whistling as it clove the winds blowing in on them from the lake. Strange a fencer need his feet on the ground to maneuver swiftly.
He had not reached the edge of light yet. He had a feeling he had to fight for every inch.
((Afraid I'll have be pesky about the details on his footing, body stance and so on for a bit, you've been there before ;) ))
