The event board needs to get out of beta, a big problem with participating in events on this server is that one cannot plan to attend one, they have to be on all day in a specific spot and wait for things to happen. I've missed alot of stuff simply because I went to go planeswalking or make something happen rather then standing around awkwardly. Also, there are the events you just aren't invited to... I mean, I know the fey event line happened because the bazaar got blown up but I was never got into any part of it aside from player run aftermath. That said, it must be demotivating that you'd be unaware it happened if you came around now.

I agree, participating in campaigns over the years have feels meaningless and I'm not talking about my character getting rewards, but a fair bit of recognition that doesn't involve people remembering what exactly happened would be nice. There's no history in Sigil, events just happen in a vacuum and then everything returns to normal and people who weren't involved? They have no idea anything happened at all and when people leave, nobody remembers. Example: a far realm invasion happened years ago, I think there's probably four characters still around who knew about it that are still around and another few who actually participated.Lucadia,Apr 23 2017 wrote: *Snip*

And Sasha will gladly complain to anyone at all about how horrible it was.

I feel like the staff is sitting behind walls watching the community and have stopped communicating with the player base that actually stays.
Topics that actually matter to the pool that stays keep getting locked instead having a proper discussion.
Things are no longer in unisone and appears that our dm team does not care.
and while I would like talk about all the things that players are saying right now, Im not comfortable speaking to anyone unless they got an even ear for listening.
It does not feel "safe" to speak with staff, but walking on eggshells.

that in my opinion, is because those topics turn into a mess. See a lot of them due to lack of constructive criticism. only takes one to get the rest upset and it only gets worse as it goes along.Lucadia,Apr 30 2017 wrote: Topics that actually matter to the pool that stays keep getting locked instead having a proper discussion.
Edit : I will also add that I have contacted the staff a number of times VIA forum PM's and they care from experience, thank god they have yet to block me "yet" :P - was wondering if that would ever happen honsetly

Well you can always apply some moderation when people get out of the way.DaftyXIII,May 1 2017 wrote:that in my opinion, is because those topics turn into a mess. I frankly think Lucadia does have a point and its something I've overheard quite a lot of these days. I'd like if the staff could open the dialogue or maybe chose someone for that role, mostly because its time consuming and I guess some DMs don't have the time for that.

I would like to invite anyone who feels disconnected from the staff to please join the IRC Server and the Facebook Group.

Well dialogue is why we have these forums, and lots of threads active. The only reason things get locked is because they've either turned into flame wars (and have stayed that way usually for a few pages) or because the matter has been settled.
That said! Luca, you talk to staff members every day. There are people who probably are behind a wall of some sort, but you are not one of them.
Edit: Also, what Sinlinara said, though the only place you'll find -all- the staff is on the forums.

I'l let Lucadia explain a bit more in detail then before I reply again, because perhaps I missed something.Hydra,Apr 30 2017 wrote: I frankly think Lucadia does have a point and its something I've overheard quite a lot of these days. I would also like to point out. The discord is under new management and i can speak for myself and the others who are in charge of the discord, we would love the staff back their. Haven has its own discord chat and the player to staff interactions does wonders too.
