As Maed descends onto her foe the creature forfeits ist disguise and ist tail0 whips around the tip surrounded by flames.

There are shouts for alarm- loud enough for even the Jotun to hear them outside.

She springs forth as soon as she alights lunging aiming a thrust for the devils ribcage as she advances. Mentally preparing for her next action beliving he would use his tail, a slashing parry to sever the tail with a wide sweap as she veered to either side of it.

The holy blade smokes with the creature's blood even as the tail strikes Maed's left leg, searing pain shooting through her body, smoke rising from the gash.

Behind her one of the guards left the zone of darkness but has yet to realize what is going on.
