When I read Darker Thought's post, I knew that two things would happen: that number one, somebody would correct her, and number two, that somebody would be Rapsam.

Hey pal, at least Rapsam is able to explain to me about things that not many others could, and he leaves no further questions unanswered from me when I ask him a question most of the time :P

anyhow I also brought up the psion possible link to MT out of curiosity to GUESS WHO? XD

but it makes sense that a psion being a mentalist would not fit into MT in the end VS a Divine caster, Arcanist, or even a Invoker that would work with MT.

Psychology as an academic discipline in the modern age is about as refined as the axes from the neolithicum.

So clearly, the most suitable class for a Psychologist, is the Marxist Totem Barbarian.

Don't forget sense motive skill, also the suggestion powers.

Which, for clarification, isn't actually in NWN2 and was never added by SCoD. (Because Obsidian did... silly stuff: http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Excluded_skills.) Maybe you could RP things with the Enhanced Senses ability and Spot/Listen, to do something similar?

Obsidian dropped the ball a lot, like skills without their counter skills, or spells without their defensive counterparts. I just assume that people can look things up on the SRD and then extrapolate what they would be able to do to what they do in RP.

From an rp standpoint that may depend if the truama the patient has is magicaly induced or done from the rigors of living. I would say any pc could probably be a pychologist if they are into the mundane counseling sessions, setting up a plan.
