"The last report stated approximatly over fifty arcanists and priests dedicated to the siege on the Xvimite front. The orcs and clansmen was harder to estimate. I expect it primitive and inferior to the Xvimites."
The commander took his time and seemed reluctant to answer the second question the hald orc layed bare. It was trubeling him no doubt. Placing his both hands on the table he leaned in over the orb animating the map.
"The scouts have failed to make contact with our own men within the forts. Those who reached it never returned. Last report came five years ago. Since then nothing."
O'Reily spoke at this turn. "But reinfocements has been sent to bolster them"
The commander repeated. "Last report I had was five years ago. It contained no details only a urgent call for reinforcements. It was granted after much controversy."
Again O'Reily spoke. "Continuation of support allowed that outpost to grow yet no reports of any progress to motivate our presence there. A outpost turned into a fortress or a personal fifedom?"
Unlike O'Reily Christos didn't deal with political decisions. He returned to the matters at hand unwilling to enter any debate. "I have lists of every material and personel transferd to the twin bastions. With the addition of civilians within the calculation there should be enough space on the freighters."

Hograth listens to this news and while he does not like them he keeps any of his emotions or doubts from showing onto his face.
In the worst case their rescue mission might get caught between the attackers and the defenders who might be unwilling to leave- making a terrible mess out of a mission that could be all nice and smooth.
Nevertheless, he has a mission.
"I would like to study those lists, and I would like to see the files of the commanders in charge of this outposts. The more we learn now, the less will surprise us."

"There is not much time. We have a schedule to keep. I can give you the copies I recived to read while we make the journey though." He walked to their right side unlocking a cabinet withdrawing a notebook from it which she slide over to Hograth.
He would find a rigerous list of materials. Every trooper was listed by name and rank. Balistas and catapults as well as reagents of both divine and arcane nature. The only thing that would stand out as a surprise was one of the earliest commanders asinged to the outpost was also named Christos.
Christos now addressed Cian who had been standing in silence throught the briefing. "Take them to their asigned quarters." The blond man aluted in acknowledgement.
O'reily gave them a salute as well indicating that whe would not participate herself. "Return safely with our boys."
The group was led below deck again to a open space with a multitude of beams. Hammocks was stringed up tightly between them. Cian gestured for a empty row the hanging beds. Metal driven into th beams served as ladders to the top hammocks. "Hold fast until we make planeshift" Around them troopers stood ready holding straps.
The felt the vessle began to vibrate with life as it canted slightly. The weak pulling of gravity became stronger and stronger. One lose crate speeded towards the stern across the wooden floor. And there was a laughter obviously directed to Cian who had forgotten to strap it to the beams like the rest had done.
((Would like next part in game. How is sunday for you guys?))

Hograth does not hesitate or delay anymore, he will indeed have plenty of time to study those documents on the journey.
So he follows the others, boarding the vessel and he stays mostly in his quarters during the journey, meditating and reading, sometimes leaving them to spar and train of course.
The news of another Christos being involved are troubling however- he will read through the offered material, trying to find out what he can about this man or woman.
((We Triad players are in LDs event already I fear- which will start sunday on early to late afternoon it seems))
