You could probably make a pretty cool wererat sinker druid with an interest in city-based scavenging animals and decay, attempting to rot the city from the inside out and turn it into a wererat paradise.

But Dwarfking wants to make a fey, soo.. I dunno'. Maybe make a character who tends the Greenhouse?

Or open a kind of environmentalist society, which would fight to make Sigil more green and ecological, and to close up lower ward.

Well I have now done hours of research and realized holy crap the fey concept actually not a bad one. and eldarin are also fey. I had no clue so it opens so many options now. I finally putting a char concept togather.

Eladrin are outsiders, not fey... native inhabitants of Arborea. But close in being chaotic and somewhat nature-attuned.

I was totally aiming it at you specifically, look, even your name is there. :) But hey, if you wanted a reason to get upset, feel free to it.

There is no need to be upset.

I was more so referring to the fact that 4th edition FR really mixed Eladrin and Fey up with the Feywild, so there should be more clarification that this is 2nd/3rd edition D&D where they are Outsiders from Arborea.

Or to put it in a friendlier context, since my own post was rather terse...

You may not know this, Dwarfking, but we use lore from 2e and 3.5. 2e lore for Sigil itself, because by the time 3.5 came out the faction war had occurred and many of the canon factions, NPCs, and locations had changed considerably, and Planescape: Torment, which was based in 2e, was the inspiration for this server. We use 3.5 for the planes (for instance, who rules over which Hell, what's happenned in the Abyss) and for general rules (we still have the Great Wheel, there are no Primordials, etc.).

Because we have players who are used to different versions of D&D, it's definitely worthwhile to make sure people know what lore we play under, if only to prevent version war arguments from happenning in-game.

Basically things that have occurred before those dates in the various settings should be considered Canon, while those after (Silence of Lolth, Spellplage on FR for example) have not occurred.

Eladrin are outsiders in 3.5 edition or before, Fey in 4e and Beyond, i get confused by this too, what i like to do is get Pdf's of the 3.5 edition books to refresh myself a bit, i can link you to my Dropbox if you like them.
