"Let's go then hunnies!" Vara takes out her wizard staff from underneath her dress and approaches the portal, but not before casting a persistent Enlarge Person on Wuhi

wuhi smiles, giving another, uh, gentle hug to vara, then she steps in the tunnels of the earth plane, smacking her head on the ceiling as she does so

Vara casts a light spell on herself as well as a invisibility spell soon as she steps into the plane.

"What for Verdant before we got further. He's got the goods to point us in the right direction hun"

Verdant arrives through the portal, prepared with wards and with his armor deployed. He holds the scrying device out in one direction and another, and frowns at its response.

"Not exactly a surprise, but no veins that we're looking for near the portal. Here's hoping we get more results in the deep rift."

When they all step in they they will find the earth plane is dark, cold and unforgiving. No sounds can be heard and all that awaits is the tunnel system linking the portal to Sigil. Verdant's scry item gives off a very faint pulse. A vein of ore is indeed in the plan but they will have to follow Verdant's lead to find what they are looking for. It seems that the scyring tool is picking up a faint signal from futher in.

wuhi squints in the dark and her eyes turn the darkvision on like the lights of a car (nah, not really :P). she peeks down the tunnel
