Hmm.

IMO, too vague to actually guess properly.

Is this damage pre-crit or post-crit, and does it have to be general, or can it be specific?

For example, a single hit that will do 2000 damage against a Neutral Evil Gnome with 5 AC when you critical hit after ten rounds of preparation, one time, if you're lucky?

Or just a solid heavy hit that will hurt anything?

I would prefer not one shot wonders, things that can be built here, and a constant thing.

Hideous blows is good for one thing looking sweet. Ranged touch attack is uber. Difference is night and day.

take away natural ac, Take away armour ac, take away shield ac.

That leaves deflection, dodge, tumble and dex. Monks retain their wisdom ac and class ac.

deflection max 5, dodge max 5. That means 23 before dex, wisdom or monk levels.

after 22 levels of warlock they ignore SR. :D no longer rely on acid attack. If they attack from hiding you loose dex bonus. That includes going invisible I believe.

Not sure about focusing on damage hurting ac Nothing I have designed so far can not achieve 50 ac or better.

Easier way to say ranged attack vs melee attack is a ranged touch attack of 15 or higher will hit most of the time. a melee attack of 15 will miss most of the time.

Warlock blast is never ending and re-use able Smite is limited and if they fit certain things will not work (unless bugged).

Maybe another rule has to be able to hit things, otherwise it does no damage :D

Just a lil tidbit about the smiter buildy,

We (hubby and I) did a test with a 13 paladin, 7 Weaponmaster, 10 Divine champion. Charisma baised, all out greater smiting 10 for epic feats.

When you smite, you "really" smite with it. I think it was something like 700ish non-crit, useing a scythe. I think it was like 1200ish with a crit on a smite.

But the downside of it is, is that you only get 5 smite evils, and 3 smite infidels per day, with extra smiting.

So yes, its a whole lot of whoopins, but you only get a very few uses out of it between rests.

And the other downside, is that build is almost "deadlocked" in for feat choice, little to no choice or selection at all.

Fun build, but it kind of gets old after awhile. <_<

XOXO
