Knowing that she can be tracked by the scent of the blood of the dead woman, blood that is all over her she heads first for the springs the devil in sigil mentioned were by the portal. Jumping in and out of them back and forth confusing the trail the smell of blood would leave.

At the portal not knowing what to do she pours out a little more whisky seeing if that will work.

The blood spreads in the hot water, and while some locals frown on her using the springs to just clean herself this way noone seems to be bothered enough to stop her.

Her wolf is watching- not sure if he shall dare to enter the water as well.

However the key is the same and if she still has some whiskey the portal opens easily.

But...

"Oi! Spilling Baatorian whiskey is illegal here! Makes a 15 jink fine!"

Two tiefs are approaching her, this law more an excuse to extort some toll than anything else.

As the portal opens she turns her back to it facing the two tieflings.

"I will be dilligent in my pursuit of the guilty and while so engaged I shall remain innocent of any wrong doing in the eyes of others."

She bows theatrically to the two of them and hops backward through the portal.

"Oi! Come on.... not one of those again.. "

"Damned Mercykillers always..."

The portal closes cutting off their complaining, the Wolf hopping through the portal just in time before he is trapped on the other side.

And she is back in front of the 'Screeching Scum' bar.

"Four, five hours ago. He was in quite a hurry. Grabbed a few things, then rushed out again. Only know he wants to get to Ribcage because he grabbed a pint of Baatorian Whiskey. Noone takes a pint if its not as key for the portal, you know."

It takes the bag, signs the receipt by cutting its hand with a claw of its other hand and using the blood to draw a nice, neat signature.

"No idea when- if he ever- he will be back."

She tries her best to look stunned. She reaches into her pocket digging her own dagger into her thigh until her eyes water.

"...But he said we'd be together! The Portal, where is it!?"

"Costs you 59 jink. But the Pint of Whiskey is included."

The fiend eyes her.

"And are you sure you want to go there? I heard Lord Paracs is rather pissed about some berks were setting fire to the embassy of Tradegate again."

"Of course I want to go."

In a feigned fit off emotion she overpays the devil.

It does not complain not tell her of this little error, too 'polite' to count twice, pocketing the coins quickly.

"Go out, turn right and you will see a big, cast iron arc, overgrown with razorwine. Step up to it and pour the whiskey onto the ground. That opens the portal to Ribcage."

Did the fiend tell her the whole story though?

She nods.

"Thank you. Where in ribcage do I come out?"
