The whisky mixes with the dist of the ground to form some vile sludge and there is a moment of silence before the portal flickers to life, swirling reddish brown mists parting to reveal the sharp black spires of Ribcage, the blood red streets between them busy with planetouched and goblinoids.

There is a buiding burning in the distance and the air drifting into the cage smells of blood and brimstone. Raena will also see some of the familiar barricades again and might notice the locals seem more alert and also better armed than last time.

She followed a few steps behind Raena keeping a fast stride.

"We seek a Abishai, mayhap a cove of them. There be too many of them and we need information. Do know where to find it or where to search for it?"

Her dainty brows was furrowed as Reana inspected her and commented her heritage.
"Know your tongue's place." She said with a threatening half growl, but it was more of a muttering than a actuall threat. Indicating that this could be a hard trial and potentially dangerous. On the remaning way there was a cloud of sullenness clinging to her like the tension felt when a thunderstorm is massing with darkning clouds.

She hated being regarded as something consisting of parts not being pure as she saw it herself. The woman had made no unreasonable statement. This was no different than any other information. Her logical nature wrestled with her blinding ireful side until they stood before the portal.

Raena stops at the edge of the portal and looks back at Mae apparently even her patience is exhausted with the half fiend's temper. She would not give Mae the time to walk away. Raena is used order and cohesion and for that to happen everyone must understand their place.

"My tongue's place is telling you how not to get yourself killed because that is what you are paying me for. Your little outburst proves why you need me. So you can either apologize for it and agree to cooperate and we will continue, or I will take my thousand gold for getting you to the portal and be on my way."

"There will be no need for bickering on this mission." The fire giant rumbled from behind them, peering down into the portal. He gave Mae a stern look. "Forgive my lieutenant's outburst; being mistaken for a fiendblood wears thin on her patience after so many times."

The negative attention didn't help much, she spoke arbitrary with a defensive tone.

"I am a fey'ri of most revered house Floshin. My lineage shall not be demaeneth by the likes of you. I am far superior to the fiendbloods that litter these wretched streets likes wasps in a hive." Hers was a demeanour of pride as she proclaimed it with a highly held head.

Seemingly getting that off her chest calmed her some. "An apology you will not have, cooperation howbeit you shall have." Hinting a shadow of a ghost of a apology in her tone as she struggled to quell her seething ire. She turned toward the portal.

She stops and glances into the portal and then back to Mae, she does not seem to be about to go anywhere yet.

"The likes of me? Please explain."

Raena would surely suspect that she clung to some class system without truly being part of it any more.

She stood with her face to the portal and spoke with her back turned against Raena. "This is not the reason of our journey. Useless spilling of precious time and nought else. You will come with us or stay." She said with agitation in her voice. Entering the portal leaving Ganatog and Raena with the most likely upset pair of brutes that was free of speaking their mind now when all chances of reprisals had disappeared with her.

She turns to the fire giant.

"Your lieutenant is foolish enough to open her mouth when she would be better served keeping it shut and too cowardly to stand and defend her position when questioned. Her attitude will endanger those who go with her and the people I would introduce you too in order to gather the information you will require. For these reasons I will not continue any further with you. I was promised one thousand jink for providing you with a portal to get you there. I have done so."

Maed finds herself in the busy streets and it is warm here, the smell of burning wood and flesh more intense. To her right she sees a group of half celestials and aasimar hurrying towards one of the buildings that is located further up the hill, guarded by two tieflings in tazor studded armour.

A squad of Mercykillers- probably hailing from the nearby Rigus are talking to some of the guards who man the barricade to Maed's left- the construction barring the way deeper into the town.

The air is warm, the surrounding mountains casting eerie shadows over the town.

Back in the cage the two merceneries stare at their leader, muttering to themselves and Rae might notice she has some sympathies- but they are awaiting their leader's decision.

She gazes around her then backwards trying to ascertain her bearing. She patiently awaits the others. Despite her vicious temper and impulsive nature she seldom rushed things. Another smoking heap of filth she thought as the foul air filled her lungs.

Walking slowly follwing the streem of the other people, mindful not to stroll out of view from the others when they would arrive. She looked towards the flight of celestials. Curious what their business with the tiefers was.
