To be fair, none of the other classes progress their spellslots or amount of spells beyond level 20. It makes sense that Psion follows the same base rule. Although in terms of NWN2 mechanics, the one side they are losing at is items that help them out on this, all other classes can get items which give them bonus spell slots, but as far as I know, there's no items (as of yet) that can improve power point pool.
Maybe make a new line of feats which aren't selectable via leveling, but instead is intended to be put into items where they can add to power pools?

A power cannot have a total PP cost greater than their manifester level. Thus, taking more levels of a class that grants manifester levels (currently just Psion unless you are an Illithid) allows you to augment or otherwise apply Metapsionics to more and more powerful powers. For example it would require a level 23 Psion to Twin a 9th level power.

So if I'm understanding this right, a level 9 power costs a base 17 PP, augmented (+50% rounded up) costs an additional 9 PP, so you need to be a level 28 Psion to augment level 9 powers?
... That is if there are any augmentable level 9 powers XD I haven't gotten that far yet.
OH!
That reminds me, I wanted to ask if Practiced Spellcaster was an option for Psions? Like if I make a 27 Psion / 3 Swashbuckler with the Practiced Spellcaster feat, will I be a level 30 manifester?
