All I can say is what the scry tool tells me and how level cap distances work :P I presume that scry tool see's your level as the sever sees it. . . that is ECL included. So as you can see, if you make a ecl 8 character, you are considered level 1. your next level you will be level 3, your third level you will be level 5. It wont be until your character level 9 what the full 8 ecl will kick in seeing you as level 17. Additionally, at level 1 you wont be automatically exp capped by level difference if you partied with another level 1 as you would if it indeed saw you as level 9 ^^,rapsam2003,Mar 28 2017 wrote:Not how it works in terms of experience or how it works on the server. A level 4 character with +5 ECL is considered level 9. :rolleyes:zethrenx99,Mar 27 2017 wrote: You laughing at mah pixies bro! :P
Edit: PS a pixie at lvl 4 is considred lvl 7 not 9. Ecl scales by +1 every level -1 until your ecl is met.
Maybe we have a miss communication but the above is how it's worked for as long as i've been here anyway.
I think that's a fair list Mick, I don't agree with a couple but that's okay. Can we agree that me calling it a ecl nerf is equally as unfair as saying it was a legacy race buff? I think the changes are great, as I said before but it is easy to see why particularly new players might see it as otherwise. Either way is irrelevant to the argument though :P
