Behind the dark mesh on the skull's eyesockets burned the glee of a maddness. Pointing his dagger to one of the Hardheads wavering only slightly with his hand.

"Block the exit. Draw their attention. Hold them inside for as long as you can manage. Which I think shall be sufficient."

He was ready to flee would the demon make the slightest indication of betrayal. It was not the first time such ordeals had gone awry at the worst possible time.

((If the demon abided his command))His free hand flared up in shadowy flame of Purple and green and he began to invoke acidic and magical blast on the supporting beams attempting to bring the entire structure down over them. Melting iron with the acid and blasting wood and stone with force.

Spreading his fingers widely he could see the last whole bearing beam between them. Sight was clouded by clouds of grime and dust in the neglected building. He hurled eldritch flamebolt for it. Thereafter he invoked a teleportation spell leaving a illusionary image of himself((Lasting one round reacting like he is)) where he stood while his true self was whisked away 75 feet attempting to reach the street outside. ((Flee the scene as in PnP. Thanks Sel!))

As he casts the invocation Mauric finds himself outside. The building cracks and crumbles, the ceiling caves in the middle and the roof collapses in on itself. There is a roaring sound and in the falling debris the Baalor stands over the wreckage its flames flickering in the dark sky as everything tumbles around it. Mauric feels its need to destroy more and should he not stop it, it will turn its fire on the rest of the hive.

The shadowy gleaming flamaes within the grey mass is such a beauty to behold. Soon my friend but not yet. He thought as he admired the Balor while a wave of grime lashed the streets surrounding the collapsing building. He reeled back covering his masked face with his hand as the blast tore in his long robe. With a hand gesture he unsummoned the demon. It wasn't feeling good to hinder destruction yet a uncontrolled flame here would bring unwanted enemies. His one true ally at this point was the anarchists. The abyssal temple was as fickle as the demon lords it served and the doomguard would sacrifice him out of political convenience. Vanishing into the mist of dust.

Once again he entered undersigil cloaking himself in invisibility after having walked in a irregular pattern for some time to confound any stalkers. His destination this time the armoury.

The building crumbles burying those inside under bricks and mortar. The Baalor dissaperars with an anguished growl and a flicker of flame.

Soon Mauric finds himself outside the undersigil entrance to The Armoury.

He used a basin of collected foul smelling water to Clean or rather exchange the grime sticking to his robe with a frowsty smear. Warily he approached the entrence knowing the risk being sold out alredy. Still masked he enters the Armoury keeping a low profile. Yanek had seen this disguise and would of course recognise him. He listened as he walked in the familiar hallways and came into the great forge with it's rippling hot air. Trying to reach the Tower of Salt and the destroyers. The mask would be recognised by those with a more trusted relationship with him. He sought Doomlord Roth, it was just as much a political powerplay between the destroyers, sinkers and regulators and he was adamant not to let the others reap the rewards of his misfortune when it belonged to the destroyers. He could not linger too long before he had to make it back to rest at the abyssal temple he thought as he strolled warily.

As he walks through The Armoury's corridors he would notice another doomguard walks by his side. As he turns a corner another one joins him, and as he nears one of the corner towers a third steps up behind him. As he nears the entrance a there stands a man in armour. A man whom of course Mauric recognizes. Yanek looks up as he approaches.

"I thought you would return here eventually Mauric, so I kept watch. If you seek Doomlord Roth he is on the quasielemnetal plane of salt I am afraid. You have danced quite the merry dance of destruction around the cage. I will get to the point. I have away out for you, a way for you to escape the vengeful wrath of your foes and wreak entropy against those who would use you as a puppet. And then should you wish to continue your journey and become an entopic champion you will do so with my support. Come let us talk."

He reels back without actually taking a step backwards lifting his lowered head abruptly as the black-mesh filled eyesockets of his mask turned to the familiar Doomlord. He didn't follow many patterns but this was one even if he was away for long periods he always returned.

"A merry dance to a merry tune." He sniggered amused. "A shame I wasn't the one playing it. But dancing to it was just as fun, whom play it is most talented. Of course I would delight in such a meeting if it could be arranged."

Clasping his hand infront of his cheast with his wide sleeves reaching his lower waiste. His Deep hood covering most of the upper mask as he once more lowered it as he walked in the wake of the superior.

A betrayal could come fast and he was prepared for it. Such a vital part of his being that was ever present in his reasoning. But there ws no option but to follow now. Those men besides him had been choosen because they was the most fit to deal with him he thought as he walked aside the Doomlord. Out played once more but the last card hadn't been placed yet.

"Sad as it is I haven't been able to follow the political regression. How fares the forces of decay over the others in our little cage?"

Yanek gestures him the trio of doomguards following from a distance.

"There are those within our faction who would like a war. Some would simply revel in the destruction. Others believe it the best way to blood our soldiers before engaging in the Factol's plans for the great Modrone March. Your apparent murder of a Harmonium luminary was a perfect excuse. We cannot allow this. It is a war we cannot win. Harmonium pressure has managed to slow production at the Armoury, and the hardheads lay siege to the citadel of Ash.

Tell me, the real killer, if we found him could you identify him?"

"Nor could they take the armoury without being completly broken themselves. It is only a matter of time but perhaps it is not yet ripe. Yet it is a pain to see things played into their hand once more and ourselves becoming more of a vassal under their heels." He protested.

"The assasin perhaps but not whom ever sent him. But perhaps I have been wishing for a grander scheme where there was none. Perhaps an opportunist that just happend to have access to my confiscated raiper and acted on it. Was any dark on this one disclosed?"

He noted that Yanek mentioned a man as if he knew that it had been a male. But could just have been a slip of the tongue as it was often assumed it was a male. Yanek was not off his list of suspects yet however distrustful to the last as he were.
