The Jotun nods, handing her a bag filled with gems worth a bit more than the established price.
"Hrmm, a shame. My gut tells me we will need your experience in there, but we must forge ahead regardless."
Ganatog gives a shrug of his great shoulders and stoops down, stepping through the gate.

The mercenaries follow their leader through the portal each mumbling a small greeting to their guide before leaving the cage.
Raena sees the three lehged dog appearing again, the creature almost more pathetic than before as it starts to lap up the spilled alcohol the portal flickering.
In the meanwhile Maed sees those tieflings checking those celestials documents then they engage in a discussion snd while it seems to be intense there is no hostility involved. Looking around she sees a large, cathedral like building behind her
Ganatog joins Maed in Ribcage, the giant greeted with a couple of curious looks.

She gauged the distance between the portal and the cathedral. It would seve as a landmark within this cityscape to exit this nigh infernal plane where she had no wish to linger in.
As the giant and the two cohorts stepped out of the portal she turned about to face them noting the missing woman. "So she would not come? No matter, nothing was lost." She said hypocritically knowing full well they needed her.
Depending on how the discussion fell out. Her next action would be to stop next person passing by. "You there. Do you sell slaves in this city?"

Ganatog glowers down at her, saying nothing for a few moments. His orange mane seems to glow like struck coals, a good indication of a fire giant's wrath. He manages to keep his calm as he rumbles;
"Maedbroghail, do you know Ribcage well enough to finish this mission?"

The tiefling stops and after eying Maed for a second he shakes his head.
"I do not sell slaves in this city, no. If your question was of more general nature then I doubt you would be able to aquire slaves as you clearly lack the licenses for doing so. I suggest to try and hire some guide."
He gives a polite bow then moves on quickly, glancing at the giant and the two mercenaries- who now stay close to their leader, watching the locals warily.

She looked up at the furious giant with an ireful glint in her eyes.
"Yes preferred was if she had come! But I will not be sleighted and make a formal apology with no reason but to appease her. That uncourageous behaviour beseems dogs, slaves and prostitutes not me."

"A rabid *dog* snarls and snaps at any who come too close!" He roars back, looming over her. The two comrades lock gazes for a few more moments, the bustle of the town going unnoticed by both.
Showing once again a quality so unusual in his race, Ganatog unclenches his fists and exhales deeply, taking a step back from her. "...Fie, the damage is done. But mark my words as one who has fought beside you many a time, Maedbroghail. Your vanity is a weakness in you, and it has made things harder on us." Turning away from her, he scans the square from his greater height for any more possible leads.

Their exchange has drawn the attention of both the celestials and the armed tieflings at the barricades who are still chatting with the mercykiller squad. Noone approaches them however but their presence has been noticed and they get their share of curious looks.
The celestials are showing some papers to the razor armoured guards and an Aasimar is send down the hill again, his face showing a somewhat annoyed expression.
There is also a small stall to the left, close to the barricade, a purple skinned male tiefling selling food and trinkets.

The usually sweet voiced woman made a gutteral growl as her brows wrinkled together as she gritted her teeth while turning her head.
She was silent for a long span of time afterward but her face revealed much of the malcontent within her. "A bastion of bureaucracy. Mayhap some of the metal have been sold to the local smiths."
