Restoring Old Characters

Hi there folks, Madporthos here. Been a while. Some of you may remember me, others not. I'm guessing Agony and Ceremorph may vaguely recall my name at least, perhaps a few others I roleplayed with. I've been meaning to come back for a while, but have some issues that logisitcally prevent it, as well as real life issues that simply prevented my dealing coming on here and addressing the logistics.

The logistics are the current issue. I own at least two copies of NWN2, with two copies of all the expansions. I think, from the books or cards in each, I have code keys still as well. However, I tried to reinstall at least one time and access SCOD and had some sort of trouble accesssing my Mad Porthos account. I also requested my characters be restored at that time, but when logging in, even when told they had been restored, could not view them. At the time, I know I just had 24 hours to log in and use each and not being able to they just ended up being re-archived.

At later point I spoke with some who ran other servers and they supposed my issue with logging in might have been because I had a different set of code keys on my new installation than what had been logged originally when I came on to SCOD, that might have been blocking my access - the guy I was talking with had been playing on SCOD back when I had been and he thought that was part of how we did our account security and bans, based on those codes. As the case may be, the real life stuff kept me from persuing it all. Things are a bit more stable now, the crisises past and I've a totally different rig, wanted to reinstall and come back, but if I have to play random guess which of each of two copies of each expansion I need to install with to properly log in here, it's just going to be a pain.

I can talk to a staffer and provide both copies of each key for each expansion if you really need that for my account verification, but I would like some contact about how to proceed with this and get setup for playing on Sigil again. Let me know if'n ya can folks? I'll check my PMs and such in the next few days and if you want to, you can always drop a file or message in my dropbox, I'm apparently still connected to Sigil's drop box from being a play tester and trying my hand at some of the developing, before being waylaid by life.
