And now imagine how low are the chances to find a group that will suit all your power build needs. They all must be in the same level range (more or less) + they must have same LA + they must be constantly killing stuff instead of roleplaying. The LA thing messes XP a bit so they must be leveling at the time when you are doing it so all of you are staying in the same level range. It is fine with 2-3 players, but if you have more and they are not a powerbuilders gosh, everytime you must say them when to level and when not to or it will cut your XP down. Anyway, how fast do you want to level? It is easy to do with the right route and build just in two days (and it is true) as stated above.

No, I am not following that rule because I was leveling my PCs in solo or in pair with other powerbuilder, thats why I had no problems with anything else. The main thing that if you do follow it, you should find other powerbuilders or ruin other player's fun...

And yes, you are gitting gud after you min/max. Otherwise you are casul.

Since this topic is now about calling people 'casul' for not min-maxing in a shitty 10 year old game and telling them they're playing wrong by considering an imposed difficulty spike just for them... Love on a Wire set the perfect tone!

Y'know, I sorta felt like being in level range goes without saying when you create a party to level with. If you consider roleplaying in a roleplaying server to be disruptive, why not just play a different game? :V

Let's try a social experiment.

Do not get me wrong, I am running plenty of 'casul' PCs myself. Just trying to show you the whole picture from the power builder's point of view. And I do not consider roleplaying something bad, I hate doing OOC runs and I always try to keep it IC (it does not slow me down however).

And yes, 'min-maxing in a shitty 10 year old game' is also fun. Sometimes you should be looking for a challenge even in NWN2. Yes, a monster can be challenging if you are playing for the first time, but when you know everything about them they are not that scary at all. For a challenge you need other players.

Still (yes, memes  )

You realize there's people here that already understand the powerbuilder's perspective right? You're not a part of some sort of super secret club, nor are your tactics indicative of people who know how the game works.

A lot of people know how the game works. It is a ten year old game. You are acting silly, and had you been anyone else I would have thought all of this was ironic.

Oh, definitely impractical. But an amusing idea none-the-less.

Power builders usually group with other power builders only, to make sure that other players who are not that strong or who are roleplaying wont slow down their leveling.

If you are grouping with casuls... meh, you are not a powerbuilder if you need a group to help you with this.

Powerbuilders aren't some mystical clique. They're players who enjoy capable builds, and many of them do also roleplay and go out adventuring with whom they roleplay with. It's generally far less about efficient hunting groups, and more about reasons to go out to the planes.
