//Ok, it seems that the event area was added, and then disappeared from the DM area list. So. . . I fear we are forced to continue on the forums here.
Broken Reach, with its well established connections to other planes, was not difficult to reach. The Doomguard party would be aware that there was, in fact, a Doomguard outpost and small factory in the town itself. This outpost was run by one Lesser Doomlord Theumar, and specialized (naturally) in making a variety of especially painful weapons.
The rest of the town was a mishmash of ruins, and temporary structures, with the exception of the tower of Red Shroud - the ruler of the town.
Who was approached first on arrival was entirely up to the Doomguard party.

He was masked in a blackened steel helmet. He wore a leather robe, crimson once perhaps but the colour had faded into rust red. The sleeve hid his left arm prothese but the rigidity was surely suspcious.
"We must gather knowledge and the shroud of darkness one might hear what is never spoken in the light, starting with our own."
If there was no other suggestions he would lead the group to report in at the outpost.

They made their way to the Doomguard outpost and factory. The doorkeeper was surprised to see them, but after an initial grimace, he greeted them with respect, and let them in.
Lesser Doomlord Theumar made an appearance a few minutes later (having been promptly notified of their arrival), and greeted them:
"Greetings! Greetings, comrades. What brings you to Broken Reach?"

The Doomlord was not to reveal their purpose just yet. Not until Theumar has shared some of his own intentions. With a relaxed and arrogant demeanour he spoke with a streak of discontent.
"Temporary reinforcements. Or you could call it a exil from Sigil. We are tired of the peace and was sent away. We are looking for action, the more danger involved the better."
"So this hellhole is a staging ground for the Blood War?"
The ruse was to appear as mindless troublemakers with very loose ties to anything but their own bloodthirst. A willing and unwitting pawn to be played in any a game.

Azor slouched behind Mauric in a rusted chainmail hauberk and pot helm he'd taken as a disguise; for him Mauric's bluff was not far from the truth, and so an easy part for the duelist to play. He made a show of shifting from foot to foot, as if barely able to stand around for long.

"Ha! Tired of the Cage, eh?" their host smirked.
"Well, this place is never dull. Battles and Chaos aplenty for everyone! And the Tanar'ri are quite . . inspirational. . when it comes to working on new weapons. Would you like a tour of the factory?"
If they agreed, the Lesser Doomlord enthusiastically showed them all over, demonstrating a variety of nasty looking weapons - both personal, and siege-sized. At some point in the tour the lesser doomlord asked:
"So you were ordered out of Sigil? What's the word from the Factol?"

Eloe headed to Broken Reach independently in disguise. She arrived in proximity of the Doomguard outpost not long after the party. She searched for a hideout and a vantage point, possibly somewhere among the roofs of the ruins around, where she could watch the outpost from a distance clearly, and unnoticed, as she was instructed.

"A tour well we had a lot of those. One more couldn't hurt I suppose."
He gave the impression of taking only moderate interest in the facility. The truth behind the helmet was Another. He took note of everydetail regarding the production. The sytem they used and so on.
"The Tanar'ri yes figure they make a good neighbour. Any troubles from them so far? A few enemies a few allies is that how it work out here?" He but the hand on around the hilt of his sword as he said that looking eager to put it at use no matter against what or whom.
"Let us say we were unwanted because of our nature. We hoped to gut some demons or devils so we came here. Sigil is no place for war so Pentar would have us wielding our chivs elsewhere."
