Charae leaned back in her chair, away from the smell. "Then no choice. We'll cut our way through if we have to. I'll see about getting a larger force in the event if it turns into a full-out battle. Do you think you could set one of the outer walls to explode? It would be a good distraction and we don't want our forces in a bottleneck either. Two or three clear ways into the encampment would be ideal."

Merium continues to scout around the outside of the parementer too look for a gap in defences she's posted enough of these herself to know even the best of establishments will have a weakness somewhere, She deftly stays out of the bright lights her clothing matches the surroundings enough to know she nearly impossible to spot but those lights look they might show any flaw in the area.

She is probably right there is doubtless some kind of weakness in the stockade. She soon finds a large gate on the western side. A gate is any structure's weakest point, it is however obviously so to the defenders too. Four Mercykillers armed with polearms guard it on ground level and the towers flanking it contain four archers each, and something else a dim smouldering glow fills the night's sky around it coming from the two hellhounds that also stand guard. As a Mercykiller Merium would know they are there to pick up the scent of those who prove elusive.

As she continues to look for a more suitable entry she skirts down the western wall, noting it is slightly shorter than the southern one. There are four towers evenly spaced along it and the same magical flood lights at night.

//Could I have a spot roll please. As is my usual policy I trust people to be honest with their rolls so I do not need it witnessed. I do however need the result.

Seeing from dark to light is easy, and the flood lights shine on a bit of the stockade that is loose roughly ten foot up. If Merium can climb up there someone of her size could with a little effort squeeze through it. The problem is, just as the flood light makes the breach easy to spot it will also make her easy to spot should she approach it. Something would need to be done about it.

She aims at a wall quite a bit behind her and tosses a rock at it to make to make a loud sound, Hopefully it'll attract the light away to see what the sound was. She uses Spell like ability Improved invisibility ((assassin level 9)) And quickly manuevers to the hole in the fence staying out of the light as it moves over to see and check the sound out, to get inside and see what she can see.

To further confound matters the Mercykillers are not the only one who seems to have an interest in the camp, and news of another attack filters through to the prison.

Pinklily was internally enraged. Her plans thwarted even if in directly. With this a distraction would be hardly be effective. Then a thought came to mind. "Ummm. This may sound insane. But, How about just walking through the front gate! Now here me out now almost every one not in this room and few select others even know there not mercykillers well they are but arnt. There obviously using our image as a ploy to remain relatively unharressed. Will use there own game against it. We send Em troops 'to help' fortify do to the last attack."

Charae considered the thought, then said, "That's very clever, dear. That may work. We can use the distraction to make our case, then strike them from the inside, if it works."

I think I we could make that work. Need a small detachment one that's quick and can work underfire. No need to be sneaky about. In fact the more noise that creates the more of them it will draw.

How bout this we take a small regiment of about 10 or so men and make a brute force attack on east wall here. With the full intent on destroying it. Failure or success would surely draw attention from the north gate here. Hopefully the pre party I got arrange will have already drawn some of the soldiers. With the harmonium on there south it should be easy cut through.
