The man just nods quietly and the doors at the end of the hall open. They are immersed in pitch blackness that not even her vision can pierce and a chill hits them that can freeze even living and dead bones. They go up a set of stairs. Then down another much longer set. They pass a flickering red portal and eventually dim candles line the walls. There is the unnerving impression that something terrible lurks within the darkness. They come to a large room filled with rows and rows of sarcophagi. The dustman opens one. In it lies a tall bald slightly over weight middle age man. The Dustmen are good at what they do. He looks like he is sleeping.
Bright green pools size up the room examining every living shade. Her senses sharped as vampire's fangs did not miss any sound or echo, nor the most subtle movement, smell or even the slightest breeze. They were all alert, even the non mentioned one. All her long ago dead body whispered her to be watchful. This was not a common place, one in which someone can chill out, neither with a dead body. However shades and nightmares are not allowed to fear, and there was something must be finished.

Once the Dustman opened the coffin, once more she emerged from his shade hanging over the dead body of Dorlan Xef. She inspected carefully the corpse and his wounds through the Dustmen's craftmanships in order to match what she have heard about his death and what has really happened. And also hoping to find any clue about his bald friend.

Finally, after the detailed study, she held her left arm over the dead man and made a little incision with her claws, letting the cursed crimson fluid drop over his, now, cold lips. Letting the damned essence impregnate the empty carcass.

The day after the events of Sasha's lunch date with an efreet, she penned a message to Aliah. Said message was given to a namer to deliver to the Golden Bariaur, or wherever the people at the Bariaur said Aliah had gone.
wrote: Dear Aliah,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm writing to you to extend an invitation to stay at the Siren's Song, Clerk's Ward, should you be staying in Sigil. I know that you don't know me very well, but given that the assassin is still out there, I offer the safety of my home.

Sincerely,

Factotum Sasha Andor

Scene: The Guild Ward

The tiefling follows what Corny says patiently waiting for every stammered syllable. As Belkas reaches into the man's pocket he finds something metal and palms it. Obviously looking to see what it is right now would give the game away, he almost does that anyway as he turns to look up at the shadow, but fortunately so does his mark. Both Belkas an Odette see what casts the shadow. A large gangly vulture headed demon drops from a building roof top opposite and flies low over the yard. It then flies off in the direction of The Lady's Ward. The tiefling also responds to Odette's greeting with a nod.

"So what are you looking to buy and what are you hoping to sell?"

Scene: The Prison

Dace's enquiries would reveal the Erinyes has made several donations to the Faction over the course of the last century. Always in the form of soul prisms and always very large amounts. Contingents of Mercykiller troops have also been sent to Baator to receive combat training from veterans of The Blood War.

His attention is shifted at the vrock making their appearance. Familiar looking and just the one he had been looking for, as such his charade could be dropped. The tiefling receiving bare minimum of his attention as his usual accent returns "Sorry ta waste yar time, got shite ta do." he casually threw whatever he had just stolen from the man in an easily catchable loop, then with his improved reactions [using his duelist level granted ability] he went after the vulture headed demon. To Odette he quickly mentioned as he started to jog and dash after the fiend "Tha's the one we're lookin' fer, well one o' the two."

He'd use whatever necessary, be it parkouring, or gently assisting things out of his way by squeezing through gaps between people smaller than his size, to not lose his sight of the thing, and it didn't matter too much to him if the said Vrock would spot him, odds are it already had.

Leona had been given lead of the investigation on behalf of the Mercy Killers. After reviewing what was presented to her in a meeting with a member of the dustmen. She would look up information in the Mercy Killer archives on Bel and Hex'ares who are both involved with the case.

After which she would have Brynn and Namer Kent accompany her to Mortuary to examine the corpse of the victim for any additional clues that might lead them to have a greater understanding how how the victim was killed any clues that might be gleamed from such examination.

Having finished reading it Mauric flung the paper into the air venshing in a blazing burst before it hit ground.

He had been following the events in silence and passiveness rejocing over the carnage that had ben caused in the pursuit of this sculpture of hidden powers. More players had revealed themselves and it was time to act. To fan the flames of conflict and violence as well as claim a victory for the abyssal forces involved. Quickly he composed a letter for the Dustmen.

If duplicates could be made and rumours spread yours should be as pleased as our men as order and civilty crumbles into naught.

Doomlord Mauric Ashtoret of the Seventh Demon Ark
He would then betake himself to the Abyssal Temple. He was no stranger here his demonic affection well known. A frequent sight. If the Champion of Zyggtmoy had spoken it was for a valid reason. It has been a long term endeavour to strenghten the ties between the temple and the Doomguard. He would go directly to the Lady of Fungi's shrine and present himself to the first person he finds at it.

"Doom and damnation. I seek Gruular. Commendable words was written for once."

"He is canny and ruthless don't let his posh and proper act fool you. He'd chiv you for the greens in your pocket and use the same chiv to pry out your gold teeth."
''luckily i dont need gold teeth yet . thankyou for your time sir '' she moves on to what to do next, leaving the hall of records.
she first goes th the adress at which sarch's manor lies, to casually look the place from outside like any passerby would. on the way she grabs a sigis copy to read the news finding about the second murder

The tiefling stares dumbfounded as the two of them race off. The Wards fly past them with blurring speed Cornwell barging into a man pushing a cart selling pies knocking it, the owner and the content to the ground.  There is a cry of:

"Oi!"

As Odette jumps clear of it.  The streets get wider and the surface more even as they follow the Vrock into The Lady's ward.  They rush past a patrol of Harmonium in The Lady's Ward and they hear the screech of a whistle.  If it is for them or the squad of dazed troopers they have no time to tell.  Their air born quarry steers away from The Barracks and The Armoury and then seems to descend and they lose sight of it.  There is only one large building around there though, and one place in the lawful Lady's Ward that it would make sense for a Demon to go.  The Temple of the Abyss.
Odette staggers to a halt as the demon flies out of sight, cussing audibly though not without accompanied pants of exertion. Her gaze follows the silhouette through the fog until it disappears entirely, a single click of her tongue against her teeth sounding as she contemplates their options. Brushing her thumb against her nose with a slight flick, she turns her gaze on Corny, and shakes her head.

"Fokkin' winged sod. . ." she mutters, thumbing in the approximate direction of the The Temple of the Abyss. "Nae leaves us with a lot of options though. . . eh, lets go pay some fanatics a visit."

Without waiting for any kind of confirmation, the bardess simply turns and heads in that direction - fully expecting Corny to follow. Regardless, she awaits him at the door with lazily folded arms and a smirked query. "Ye want t'brazenly stroll in the front, or should we try an' find another way in?"
