((she knows how to reach the mountain path and the inn. ))

Outside the gates Mead sees this strangely familiar narrow path, leading up a steep slope to the left, up to the Inn the tiefling described.

The wind is strong out here, driving clouds of sand over the landscape, the local plants black and thick leaved and covered with thorns giving the place a hostile appearance.

Narrowig her eyes and rasing a hand before her face at the blast. Pointing towards the mountain path. "There lie the pathway to the stead he described." She explained unsure whether the vison had been given to the lot of them. Covering her mouth pulling her thin scarf up she turned left. Seeing no reason to linger she continued following her given way to the Inn.

Ganatog follows beside her, scanning the landscape ahead from his greater height.

"Be on guard, you three. If he could speak with Mae magically, might be he could speak with comrades lying in wait out here."

The path winds up the mountainside and they walk almost an hour, the light getting lesser, the wind stronger but then they see the shape of a sharp angled building made of bones and wood appearing from the clouds if dust the wind blows over the dry landscape. There is a hedge surrounding it, odd bloodred roses, their branches and stems forming a dense thicket.

But the path is clear and they arrive at the door in an alcove nearby a rare male Erinyes talking to some hunched hooded figure. The devil glances over the arriving group and lowers his voice, watching the mercenaries closely.

Her long hair fluttered behind her in the stark wind. Lashing at either side whenever a wind violently threw itself in another direction with a mocking howl. Only a narrow thin line remained seen of her eyes as they were nearly shut closed. The dusky nigh black wings cramped together at her back, the leathery membrane flickering unvoluntarily.

When they arrived leeward of the buliding she flapped her wings twice to rid herself of the sand that seemed to have managed to creeped into every opening in her armour.

With a vexed tone she spoke to the male erinyes. "Be this the Tails and Angels Inn?"

He looks at her, the hooded creature slinking back deeper into the shadows if the alcove.

"It is. A rather welcoming place for all those who carry a bit of Baator in their heart.", he says with a smile- a smile that does not reach his eyes.

The door opens and two burly Bearded Devils stumble outside and whatever brew they might have enjoyed the natural immunity against poisons did not stop the fiends from getting drunk.

With a contenmptious look at the newcomers and a frown on his handsome face the devil continues: "Yet it also can be a rather rough place if you are in the wrong company or....", he fixes his eyes on Mead. "...smell of Tanar'ri."

Ganatog curses under his breath at the insult, wondering to himself if Mae would snap a second time so soon into the mission. Not taking the chance, he lumbers foward, putting his bulk between her and the Erinyes and giving her a warning pat on the shoulder as he passes.

"Then well it be none of the wretched demons are here, is it?" The Jotun booms, scratching at his beard. He glances over at the two drunken Baatezu. "The brew must be fine here indeed, if even such puissant soldiers can be affected. Seems we've heard right, eh troop?"

The Erinyes stays silent and smiles- but it is a certain predatory silence and the smile thin as the devil as the devil watches on. As Ganator touches him he feels steel like skin over strong muscles and a vision of flames flickers through his mind, blue white energy hot enough to even devour fire itself. The pictures are gone quickly and the devil keeps his posture, neither intimidated nor hostile- only watching.

The Barbazu are easier to approach and answer Ganatog in an open, almost jovial way.

"No demons in there, not a single one to be found in a fivehundred miles radius. But the beer is good even if you mortals might not survive it."

They share a laugh that seems almost too cheerful and it turns into a stutter and forced chuckling as one of them meets the Erinyes eyes. Then they turn around, their movements somehow synchronized in a way only lawful warriors and veterans of many battles manage to achieve, opening he door to enter the inn again.

"Not good drinking outside. Lets go in."

A wise decision no doubt. A faint snarl had build up in her face. She did not show as strong a reaction as one might have expected although.

"In truth." She strode towards the door with her usual bearing.

Ganatog gets through the door with a bit of difficulty, taking the pack off his back and having to crouch down under the frame.
