The correspondence between Notary Nica and Factor Ta'Kan draws from the Odette a suspicious glance. This glance is then directed toward Factotum McEwan of the Sensates to linger for a passing beat, singular brow lofting in silent communication.

Attention returns to the proceedings thereafter.

If there is any irritation for the constant passing of notes, it doesn't show beyond a faint eye roll.

As Rhistel finishes, a wolffish smile from Pentar. Whatever thoughts she has had one what she has gleaned from the Fated's statement are interrupted as a piece of paper is passed to her. She whispers something to The Doomguard who brings it to her attention, he scribbles down a response and the note is taken back to its sender.

Dace watches Factor Kala's penning and dispatching the letters, following the messengers with his eyes to their respective destinations. A faint grimace creases his features, looking back at the Godsman Factor once more before returning his attention to the next speaker.

Kala stared back at Dace for a moment, she then nodded like she had acknowledged something, keeping her pen in hand following the rest of the congress unfold in silence.

*Factotum Kelth, the Warrior, gave a slight nod to the Cipher. He too, frowned at the exchanges going on. The warrior gently touched Quinn's arm as a sign of trust in his abilities*

A drow among the Doomguard snickered at sudden flux of judgmental glances, rather plainly speaking in a voice just loud enough to be heard in sudden silence.

"You lot'd charm the paint off the wall with all those looks..."

The Speaker stands again.

"I would remind the Doomguard both they and the Harmonium will have a chance to make a closing statement at the end. In the mean time we will have order. Is there anyone else who wishes to take the podium?"

As no one else seems to be intentioned in taking a turn at speaking, and while still waiting for their Namer to come back, Rhistel stands up from his seat and approaches the podium, on his face the stern and slightly annoyed expression of one who really, really didnÂ’t want to be there, in the middle of the attention, but that still was determined in carrying out his duties nonetheless.

He would move his gaze briefly on the audience without indulging on anyone in particular, then he would finally speak in his usual quiet but firm tone

“It would seem that this Meeting was called with expectations in mind... still, the accusation thrown have already been countered with arguments, and as the representative of the Fraternity has stated at the beginning, we are really not here to judge basing on who raises their voice the most, as appealing this rating system might seem.
We are here to hear facts, and see evidence. We need to be convinced.”

“We have heard Factol Pentar's opening, and the claims she has made on behalf of the Doomguard.
Unfortunately, as things stand now, it seems that the amount of evidences and testimonials that can be provided against their version is enough to warrant more than reasonable doubt.
A sloppy plan, one would say, shared with too many people to even be considered secret, and spoiled long before it was even put into practice.
Whether it was a mere ruse aimed at creating a pretext to lay claims against the Harmonium, or just some NamerÂ’s folly in order to achieve one day of glory, it doesnÂ’t really matter right now.
Stands the fact that if any of those actions were indeed taken, we should fully expect everyone to get what they deserve for what was done, with no exception.
Because once any of us allows a Faction to cause mayhem in the City while preaching their “beliefs”, and go unpunished while doing so, we are willingly giving up the right to complain, should our interests be harmed in the process.”

His tone tinted by a hue of sarcasm at his last sentence, he finally pauses a moment, looking slightly to one side as if briefly distracted by some thought. He would then tilt his head and soon return his attention to the audience with a soft sigh, his voice calm and collected as he speaks again

“Thus said… allow me to add that our Faction keeps the city interests in great consideration, and like everyone else we realise that its economy is an important aspect that needs to be safeguarded for everyone’s benefit: we do not wish to see the Market Ward, or any other Ward, for what it’s worth, become the ground for an internal war or a place to deploy one’s army for a show of strength. This would clearly benefit no one, especially not when…” he would briefly gesture toward the Harmonium and the Mercykiller “...our militia’s attention is already focused on external enemies.

Since the issue has been brought to this council attention, I state that we, as a neutral party already fully present and integrated in the Bazaar activities, are willing to offer our services and support in keeping the required order in the Market Ward should this council find the suggestion acceptable.”

With those last words, he finally offers a small bow to the audience, and turns around to leave the podium without a second look, soon returning to his seat

Despite the relaxed posture of her person, there lingered a keen attentiveness with the flicker of verdant gaze. Ms. Ta'Kan's exclamation had brought a mildly amused quirk to bronzed lips, as did the Signer's rebuttal, however both faded in place of stony neutrality with glance back in direction of the former Indep in question. Tahir's presentation drew from her a nod as the man returned to his seat nearby; though it seemed for a brief moment there was a thought that died on the tip of her tongue without voice. Recent words from the Taker are acknowledged and agreed upon in silence, with but a small nod of the woman's head.

"The Bazaar doesn't need armed goons to protect it!" - Promptly sitting back down after her outburst.
