Having acquired a handful of papers that were left behind by the Fiend and Fey attackers from within a crypt in Niflheim, Aleis had busied herself with the task of trying to translate an old scroll.

A chair was moved over to one of her worktables and turned into a temporary desk. She sat with the scroll in front of her and a nearly blank paper beside it as she attempted the mind-numbing process of trying to translate it. She re-read the first few words over again, "Fejir Rite Sepa Dominion... Rite of Soul Dominion..."

After an hour of work, she had come up with about 10 possible translations for 'Fejir', none of which she particularly liked, and had filled up nearly the entirety of the paper with translations for other words as well. She grumbled to herself after having not made any real progress beyond a few words. "Why does it have to be ancient Draconic? Why can't they just use a modern variant like normal planars?"

Presently she retrieved another blank paper and began to copy down the Draconic text, just in case. And when she finished she moved to her enchanting workbench and copied down the magical symbol on the scroll using her magic scroll scribing inks and tools. Now with a bit of peace of mind, she stood and stashed the original scroll away among her library of books and activated the workshop's guardian gargoyle. "Starrin, don't let anyone but me or Trissa-" she enunciated the name again, slower, to make sure that the construct understood, "Tr-Is-Sa... No one except for me or Trissa is allowed to remove anything from the bookshelves."

Aleis then retrieved the copies she made and departed in search of resources on Ancient Draconic to help her finish her translation.

Aleis's search leads her to a temple of Takhisis within the Plains of Dust on Krynn, With a small fee to the planes walking guild they have offered to help guide her and a group of no greater then six people through a portal to the prime world. They however make no promises that the portal will lead the group close to their destination.

Tess
With the past between the Prince and Raven Queen being what it is and the fact the shades have now been determined to be a twisted type of shadow fey under the Raven Queens command, it seems likely the conflict is based upon past resentments.

There were a few things Aleis needed to take care of before she was ready to depart for Krynn. She had already fashioned newly created armor and weapons to be used on the trip, as well as having restocked, or overstocked as may also be the case, on her collection of wands and scrolls. She also readied a wand of Alter Self so she could hide her Dragonmark and appear as a normal Human with her old hair color.

Importantly, Aleis additionally put up a posting on some of the Indep Boards around the bazaar advertising that she was searching for currency from Krynn and was trading general planar jink at a ratio of 2:1 for them. The fey would test the coins herself to make sure they were genuine and belonging to Krynn. Her intention was to be able to go to Krynn with at least 5,000gp in currencies she could reasonably use.
((Appraise Roll to verify the coinage: ))

Due to the difficulty of traveling to the prime it does take some effort to locate the large sum but after several hours she manages to acquire five thousand at a 2:1 ratio.

As the trio of mages agreed upon after recovering what they set out to find, Aleis returned to the Spelljammer Melethkanara equipped with several books from her personal library along with other reference materials (letters, folios, scrolls, etc.). Presently she stood outside the ship's entrance with the lighter possessions carried by herself and the heavier objects delegated to a large-sized gargoyle that she referred to as Starrin.

She shouted an enthusiastic greeting to the ship itself, "Hello Mel!! I'm back to help translate!"

She does not mind with the fey being in our garden. *He pauses* Plenty of space. If you prefer fruits the watermelon wine, Green honey-melon Wine, Sasafras Vanillia or well always option of imagining a new concoction.

Come this way *He goes for the hatch for the lower stair well, the lights cascading down the walk to highlight the path of flora and plants on each step*

"I think the honey-melon wine will be best. Something to sweet to go with the bitter work." Aleis motioned for Starrin to follow her again and the both of them followed Argent down into the lower levels. However, after descending the final step she regarded the gargoyle anxiously, "Perhaps it's best if you stay by the stairs..." There was a nod of the gargoyle's massive head as it acknowledged this, moved to the side of the stairwell, and once again became seemingly inanimate.

Tess is nearly right behind her, an Unseen Servant in tow; carrying one of her larger bags of holding and a small box that looks like a tiny bookshelf.

"I'm pretty sure knocking might do the trick, silly."

She eyes the gargoyle suspiciously, keeping a safe distance. While not afraid, it's no secret she isn't a fan of the artificial.

It seems with their approach, the glamoured door had opened for allowance of their arrival. Disappearance and glimmer. Once inside, it seemed relatively quiet almost subdued before several of the natural lighting sources flared to life. Appears the elf has been mostly sitting in the dark, perhaps asleep or some other mysterious thing, before walking over to the railing and giving a tacit greeting, motioning them out.

"Shall I get you any delights for drinks and food as we start this?"
