Well, if you believe in evolution, then something vaguely chicken-like gave birth to a mutant egg, which hatched and thus forming what we now know as a chicken.
So, if a mutant egg is still an egg, then the egg came first. If not, then ~bam~ we suddenly had chickens!

hmm well seeing its an egg it can't actually be stimulated. Next thing is the egg has a cig that is in some sort of hole. Which makes me think the chicken probably came and killed the hatching in the egg by puncturing the shell.
As for the bunny...Can I get one of those for a familiar. that almost beats the want for a cockatrice for a familiar.
