At the moment, one of my characters has four different bags of holding and all of them are rather full. And dragging items from these four containers is not something overly pleasant.
So, you're not doing any harm by quickly typing something like this; '//// I got +4 weapon, +3 armor' - as the merchant begins to browse her selection after the role-play dialogue.
