As an unfortunate side-effect to the demolition of Ye Foul Olde Inn, we seem to be short 3 of the beginner quests(Muriel, The Mindflayer and Shayl(?) The Shaman). Have they been permanently deleted or have they simply been moved elsewhere?

They're possibly in limbo right now (Ariella would have to confirm), but they will be coming back in some form.

Could always make new token quests, that's what happened when Smoking Hammer inn blew up. Gives a feeling of change also. I mean, what's the chances that next place also has a bat problem? :P The place previous to that had a rat + cranium rat problem. Clearly if we're sticking to changing one alphapet in the name theme, the next place should have a cat problem.

Agreed on the bat thing, if the next inn has crab or mosquito problem it would be the same. Just please avoid rats, if you can, since they are used as newbie quest in far too many games/servers. :P

For the mind flayer with the alchemical silver weapon quest, he is sorely missed already, and I would put him back more or less how he was, given he is also referenced in tutorials on the wiki and on the forum.

Also, what will be of the portals that opened in the inn?

As a side note I think also the scholar guy at the first floor was referenced by a pair of quests.

My recommendation would be - make new quest givers rather than restore old ones. In case of crisis it would be logical to assume, that even after restoration, nothing will be same. Otherwise - it would be kinda immersion-breaking and ongoing events pointless.

I'm like 80% certain that everyone in the Inn died except for Rina, who managed to get out in time.

So, RIP Mindflayer, RIP Lunch, RIP Muriel, RIP Bouncers, RIP Half-Dragon Guy, RIP Aldanon Knock-Off, RIP Ghostbuster-Lady, and RIP Bats.

Someone should consider hosting a funeral service for them. :(

Did the ghost re-die in the explosion? RIP Ghost.
