Just to make sure all is clear regarding user placeables.

If the character (not player, character) who creates a placeable is not logged on, then any player can delete their placeable.

DMs/Admins are ok with other players cleaning up mess left behind by other players.

Of course, if you witness someone disconnect, leaving behind placeables that they were attending to, give it a couple of minutes before deleting them as the other player may simply have had a client crash or random disconnect.

So, to make it clear: Not being logged in with the character that created the placeable is effectively giving explicit consent for any player/DM/EM to delete your placeable.

As a side note: We have considered also extending this functionality so that it works if a character is logged in, just in a different area. For the moment, we are not making this change, there can be valid reasons for this (eg: going to the lab to get a recipe) - but if complaints about unattended placeables happen, then we may make it happen.

This is Sigil people, if your property is not protected, someone will steal it unless it is nailed down. If it is nailed down, then people will also steal the nails.

Also a side-note: If we didn't want people to be able to delete your containers, then we wouldn't have added the option to begin with. It's not automatic function, it actually had to be consciously made :P
