So, Narsiscan has been a character that I've developed over the last couple years under this name, and a couple others. Within that time, alot of details have changed, but, like they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same; eventually, certain things became consistent, and his character, story, attitude, appearance gradually became solid.

Shortly after starting to play here on Sigil, I thought I'd try changing things up a bit. Instead of playing him as a human, I rerolled him as a yuan-ti, i changed his diety to one with a similar portfolio, etc. It was a chance for me to try something new, and see where I can take him. Call it an experiment. What resulted was a significant departure from my usual character.

After a few weeks of playing him, while I enjoyed the rp I had with others, I feel unfulfilled. For one, he doesn't feel like the Bael.. err, Skin, I've known and loved. Sure, he still has the same old "Go F yourself - come back when you have some money" attitude he's always had, but In my head, I haven't been able to mesh him with the character and background I had created. Instead of being a new variation on an old favourite, it's like he's just an imitation that popped up out of nowhere. For that reason, I've decided to revert him to the character I'd poured so much of my heart into.

There will be some significant changes. Instead of being a yuan-ti with a snake-lisp, he'll be an everyday human. I plan on using his old, two-word name too, since it does have relevance to his past, and the fact that he never gives out his full name would be more significant if he had a first and last. Yes, I will be making changes to his build, but this remake is primarily for RP purposes.

I don't think that any of these changes will affect any of the roleplay that's already occured; I've never written more than a line or two about his being a yuan-ti, I've never even begun to reveal his background, etc. 99% of the change that you guys will experience will be knowing him as Bael instead of Skin. The rest of it, like I said, is in my head.

The reason I'm posting this here is this: If you think that some of the roleplay you and I may have had should no longer apply, then that's cool. Personally, I'd rather continue as if nothing has happened, but if you want to retcon any rp, then let me know here. Also, if you're cool with all this and you'd like to keep going forward as per, then let me know here too, since it would help me keep track of who I'll be having to send explicatory tells to.

Since he will now have a background, I'll be posting it very shortly, so I invite you to go over to the Character Bios area and read up.

See you all in-game.

Hey I know how this feels, just stick true to how you want to play him mate, Kelth didn´t had much talk with hem (yet) but did see him, I´ll act as if it was a human all along. Not much of a problem ^_^

So, no changes to the character itself, you have just decided to role-play it differently?

Different name, race. As far as roleplay goes, the only real change would be having a background to tell you about (if he actually trusted someone that much). On a day-to-day basis, eg hiring himself out as a mercenary, selling stuff at the market, it would be the same.

Heh, yeah you do! :P

Anyway, I haven't associated with your character, but from what I can tell the change isn't overly prodominant... and since your character isn't an open and revealing sort I doubt anyone will have much issue changing their recollection of events with this guy... if that's even necissary.

It's all good.
