Good Evening, I'm making a post about the recent and harsh changes to the casino limits, It's nice that you guys care about our gambling addiction, I know I've lost 500k before at the Roulette, but...to only make One bet? Isn't this going a tad over board? Roulette is about making more than One bet, On multiple colours and and numbers only to have it land on that one green and loose it all. Prohibiting us to only one bet on Roulette goes against having it in game in the first place.

As far as I'm concerned I haven't noticed any exploits with the roulette table, the only bug I've noticed is that the number 3 was essentially none existent on the table and would break a round at times saving your bet for the next round. Other than that...it's...roulette, and works like how a roulette table works, and I've used it quite a bit before. Also, if there's something wrong with it, wouldn't it make sense to just disable it rather than make it completely unplayable?

Likewise. I haven't noticed any exploit with the roulette table either, except for number 3, which was more of a bug than an exploit. Having spent the vast majority of my time there the past couple months with Lyra, and Argent.Mymothersmeatloaf,Feb 28 2017 wrote: As far as I'm concerned I haven't noticed any exploits with the roulette table, the only bug I've noticed is that the number 3 was essentially none existent on the table and would break a round at times saving your bet for the next round. (All three of us losing more than we won, as well as cleaning money from the economy.)
The only exploit that was involving the casino that multiple people had knowledge of, was the animal pits appraise checks, which was resolved months ago. - Yet the 'feature' is still there, non-functional.
Not only that, it's completely broken now, due to this change. (The Animal Pits)
If this temporary 'screw up an entire zone to close an exploit' is indeed, blocking out this exploit from happening, You could inform us what the exploit was, because as it stands, it looks like a witch hunt, at worst, and policing fun at best. Which has happened there before.
Breaking two out of three of the major games in the Casino and leaving still open to the public is a terrible design choice, much better left to having the Guard at the entrance just say "The casino is closed for renovations"
But then again, I doubt there is a single scripter who actually tests what they design.

Well obviously breaking the animal pits was unintentional, and that bug didn't come out in testing. :P
As for roulette. . . whether that stays single bet only is up for debate. However, saying that one bet per 2 minutes is "broken" is highly misleading from a game perspective. It might not be 100% true to roulette, but the point is to make something what works for the purposes of Sigil.
Saying that it was done to close an exploit is also misleading. It was done to slow down how fast you could gain gold in the casino.
As I'm sure casino enthusiasts have noticed, we've tweaked the casino multiple times to get it where we want it, and we do not (intentionally) explain exactly how it works internally.

You're also tweaking how fast people LOSE money. Which is important for the overall health of the economy. - People have ultimately lost more than they've gained. Ask Lyra, Ask Argent, or myself.
It's missing the thrill of winning big and losing big now. Which is what Casinos are about. In other words. It's currently a waste of space better served for something else.
In the time it takes for the man to call a number. One could rush to any one of the 'barely protected' gold piles in any of the combat zones, Never fight a single enemy, and get access to money without risking a thing, or wasting as much time.
